That's pretty hardcore, and you get my respect for that. Google maps probably works so well, because of all the crowd-sourced data :\

Is it though? So you have a fully de-googled phone, don't use banking apps, don't play popular games, only use opensource LLMs, don't have a 365 account or whatever at work?

All the points you're making are fair, but I feel that you're underestimating how much all corps already know about us. (Especially if you're in the US)

If I'm wrong, and they actually have zero info on you, then I salute you, as it's not easy to workaround in the real world ;-)

I will get a lot of backlash for saying this but, while I see what potentially the issue could be, aren't we already in reality giving every bit of information to the Googles, Amazons,...

This is the way. I also have a dumb TV (because it's old :P) and an Apple TV box connected to it. Whenever the box is getting enshittified I can replace it.

PyCharm can indeed choke on large files and codebases, because it's trying to analyze everything and you need to tell it to tone down.

May I ask you why not Jetbrains? I understand it feels bloated, but add all its functionality in the form of plugins to any editor and they'll start to bloat too.

I also have been having more stress, so that's probably the real cause. Maybe you've been having a healthier work/life balance?

I'm a painter and a fullstack developer and I've only managed to get 42/50 after 2 attempts :D

First attempt was at my external monitor and second one on my Macbook screen, and there I got a higher score, probably because of the higher brightness I'm able to get there.

Also wondering about the score, ,maybe you get punished more if your value is off instead of your hue.

I was there in 2006 (aged 17), it was the closing act at Pukkelpop (Belgium). It was phenomenal, wasn't just about the music, but also the visuals, the whole retro sci-fi aesthetic, just perfect.

I started drinking coffee at age 31. The first few cups felt like it could take on the world, then the effect quickly faded away and now it's more a habit then anything else.

About the hurtful comments: I did the same, see my post in here. I assume a lot of teenagers/young adults do this, so probably we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves ;-)
