Fair point. But in a way, a lot of people directly (or indirectly) work for big corporations with dubious intentions/moral standards. I'm thinking of fossil fuel companies, banks (not all), insurance companies, gambling platforms, big tobacco, etc.

What I'm trying to say is that maybe it's just a trait of humanity itself, and not just tech. We think we don't do harm by just being a cog in the wheel, but in reality we are attributing though.

That's pretty hardcore, and you get my respect for that. Google maps probably works so well, because of all the crowd-sourced data :\

Is it though? So you have a fully de-googled phone, don't use banking apps, don't play popular games, only use opensource LLMs, don't have a 365 account or whatever at work?

All the points you're making are fair, but I feel that you're underestimating how much all corps already know about us. (Especially if you're in the US)

If I'm wrong, and they actually have zero info on you, then I salute you, as it's not easy to workaround in the real world ;-)

PyCharm can indeed choke on large files and codebases, because it's trying to analyze everything and you need to tell it to tone down.

May I ask you why not Jetbrains? I understand it feels bloated, but add all its functionality in the form of plugins to any editor and they'll start to bloat too.

I also have been having more stress, so that's probably the real cause. Maybe you've been having a healthier work/life balance?

I'm a painter and a fullstack developer and I've only managed to get 42/50 after 2 attempts :D

First attempt was at my external monitor and second one on my Macbook screen, and there I got a higher score, probably because of the higher brightness I'm able to get there.

Also wondering about the score, ,maybe you get punished more if your value is off instead of your hue.
