In France we have a good quality label that is available everywhere. It's a bit more expensive but it's not even that bad. Not sure if there's an equivalent in the US. That's an unannounced...

As it so happens, industrial farmed meat of any kind is actually quite gross and potentially toxic for you. After watching the documentary I linked, I've pretty much given up eating all fish and meat in general that isn't local to me. I want to be able to know the source of my meat, otherwise I won't eat it.
