I used to really like Brad but I can't watch him anymore after seeing how much dangerous misinformation he spread. And that was before he went independent.

Can you elaborate on that? I don't keep up with stuff like this and would be interested in hearing more.

There's a few articles about the seafood canning incident and the pastrami incident. https://www.washingtonpost.com/food/2021/02/02/bon-appetit-seafood-video/...

This Instagram user has also pointed out more things that didn't get reported by media outlets.

I think it's pretty clear from his tone and content that he really is just experimenting with limited educational information.

I want to think that some of the things he demonstrated are just frowned upon or "controversial", but I'm sure he could have used some better safety practices.

I'd guess they're talking about when he was doing "It's Alive" and gave bad information about canning seafood. Bon Appétit pulled the episode but I can't think of anything else he's ever done...

Bon Appétit pulled the episode but I can't think of anything else he's ever done that's unsafe or misinformation in particular so it could be something else totally that I don't know about either.

I've been to this place, the bar next to the brewery is also owned by Guinness and has their whole product line. It's not a bad place to spend an afternoon chatting to tourists.
