    Holy crap, Good Eats is easily my favorite cooking show of all time, and I had no idea it was coming back. And to top if off we're apparently going to be getting 2 new episodes a week. This submission just made my day, so thanks for sharing this, @Tau_Zero!

    As for the episode itself, I am super relieved to see Alton and Co. hasn't allowed the quality to decline at all from the old show. In fact, I would say it even looks like the original format has been improved! It was just as quirky and informative as ever, but the sets looked way higher budget, and some of the shots were incredibly creative with super slick transitions (e.g. this series of shots blew my mind). The only thing I felt it was missing was more discussion on the food science elements and some oversized props to demonstrate them.
