Her contract with Andrew Rea/Babish Universe was supposedly only for 10 episode, which were all completed and released already. And in a somewhat recent Architectural Digest video, where Rea did a tour of his new house/studio, he showed the basement "Studio B" that Sohla was using "in shambles", due to him having to fix an illegal water-heater installation (from before he moved into the place). And in the process of fixing that, a whole bunch of other serious problems with the kitchen down there were discovered, which Rea is also having to fix now before he can use the studio again.
So AFAIK, whether Sohla will ever return to his channel is unknown at present, but looking increasingly unlikely as she has been finding success elsewhere, and even appears to have her own studio now (which all the recent Food52 and NYT Cooking videos have been filmed in).

I was just assuming it's a studio based on her joking about, and showing off, how fake everything is in the beginning of one of her recent Food52 videos that was shot there. :P But it may actually be her kitchen in her new house, and she was just joking about it being recently renovated... who knows. 🤷 In any case, I'm glad she is still making videos and has her own place to film now too, so we get to see even more video with her. :)

In one of the early videos in that space she commented that she had moved, so I believe that's her actual kitchen when it's not in use for filming.

I had thought that it was more that the rehab of the kitchen wasn't anywhere close to done when they started filming, but I could be wrong.
