steamcmd
needs to have its options to be readable from environment variables like a lot of command line tooling.I think you could semi-automate this with AutoHotkey or a similar tool, but it would take control of the PC, so it can't run when you're doing other things. Basically set it up so it r-clicks on the game and selects verify. And you can set those in the task scheduler to run at the desired time
Hey all! This is something I set up for myself. I found that workshop mod updates take a while to distribute. The tutorial will walk you through force-updating mods and games just before you're ready to play.
