I had no idea who fextralife was until Elden Ring came out then all suddenly I couldn’t escape them. Like that first weed sprouting in a yard. I need to research them and their origins. Thanks for...

They are the slightly better version of fandom. Seriously I hate how much fandom screwed over wikia's. At least fextralife tries to make engaging content and build guides and stuff. Still though...

This is surprising to me. I see Fextralife as being far worse than Fandom on the whole. Having Ublock Origin probably alters the experience, but my main complaint about Fandom is the dumb sidebar and irrelevant content linked at the page bottom. Fextralife fills every page with useless text to make their site appear at the top of searches - the content itself is poor quality.
My first and only experience with Fextra was for Elden Ring and the content there is absolutely not poor quality. Sounds like bias, tbh. There is virtually nothing about the game I can't find...
My first and only experience with Fextra was for Elden Ring and the content there is absolutely not poor quality. Sounds like bias, tbh. There is virtually nothing about the game I can't find there, along with detailed descriptions and location on the interactive map. If it has too many ads I wouldn't know because that statement applies to the entire internet which is why I use uBlock.
Seconding this about ER and Fextra! I found Fextra to be absolutely requisite, and the one thing that Fandom doesn't have—comments—is absolutely to their detriment. Any specific detailed thing for...
Seconding this about ER and Fextra! I found Fextra to be absolutely requisite, and the one thing that Fandom doesn't have—comments—is absolutely to their detriment. Any specific detailed thing for any of From's games is in the Fextra wikis, and, in the off chance it wasn't, it was in the comments.

I started using Fextralife for Dark Souls 3 after trying a few other wikis and not having great experiences. Fextra’s DS3 wiki was really accurate and comprehensive, so it was a great addition to the game for me. I also use a Ublock Origin, so I’m not seeing a lot of ads there…which seems to be a main complaint?
Which, to be honest, it's surreal for me. I wasn't aware there was anyone using the internet at all these days without a robust ad blocker! It seems a requirement as requisite as the browser itself!

For reference, the wikis I have encountered from Fextralife with terrible content and bloat are the ones for Pathfinder, Pillars of Eternity and of course Baldur's Gate 3. I would not call...

Yeah, that's fair I take it back. Maybe my experience is the exception. If it actually is a wiki platform then I guess the quality depends on the users, which is going to be a different crowd for...

It's always nice to see independent wikis for games. They're usually a lot more reliable — on Fandom wikis I often find myself immediately leaving after clicking through to an empty page,...

I appreciate you for posting this! My partner and I are playing with each other via LAN and are having a grand old time, but it can be easy to miss what a character says if both of us are talking...

Have you tried wikidot for dark souls 3? It’s my favourite wiki for souls series. Unfortunately, wikidot never took off for elden ring.

Thanks for sharing this! Looks really useful. Might use it more for my second run though haha.
This is great, thanks for sharing!
It's great but needs more content! Please help contribute!
