Great summary of the criminal plot but this conclusion at the end is utter horseshit:

When historians review the extraordinary events of 2020 and 2021, they will note the public-spiritedness of Republican lawmakers in many of the states targeted by the president and his alleged co-conspirators. Officials in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin not only complicated the president’s plans but also proved fatal to them.

The two indictments this month, one federal and one state, have built on the courage of individuals such as Bowers, Carr, Raffensperger, and Georgia’s governor, Brian Kemp, to shore up the surprisingly fragile pillars of American democracy.

No, these scumbags were covering their ass, that's all. They aren't heroes they just didn't want to go to prison. Kemp stole his election and got away with it. They all would have been on board but they saw how stupid the plan was and knew they would get burned.

My first and only experience with Fextra was for Elden Ring and the content there is absolutely not poor quality. Sounds like bias, tbh. There is virtually nothing about the game I can't find there, along with detailed descriptions and location on the interactive map. If it has too many ads I wouldn't know because that statement applies to the entire internet which is why I use uBlock.

The blame for leaving folks without insurance seems to fall on the folks who shut down their insurance company

This is like saying the blame for making folks homeless falls on the folks who forced them to leave the house that was burning down. Friday had to open their books and it was quickly determined they would not be solvent by the end of the year. Providers were already choosing not to see people covered by this failing insurer. Should Colorado have done nothing?

I did this on my first playthrough of Elden Ring. The first really interesting weapon I found was Reduvia, and I leaned into it hard. Now after hundreds of hours in the game with multiple characters I understand choosing a dagger for my main weapon as a newbie was WAY harder than almost anything else I might have picked. No regrets though, I sliced Elden Beast up with that dagger (well mostly the mimic, but I helped).

This is only my opinion and I won't try to defend it, but I think the OP was knowingly spreading disinformation. Their post history is loaded with left-leaning political articles which strongly implies they are politically knowledgeable, and presenting themselves as liberal. Then they slide this turd in, along with a few comments about how it could only be a good idea. It stank.

No, most of the comments were correctly pointing out that 3rd party candidates in the US can ONLY be spoilers that take votes away from one of the two viable parties. There is no way for a 3rd party to win under the current FPTP voting system. Not everyone understands this and the article was trying to convince these low-information voters that voting 3rd party is a good idea. It was disinformation, and I am happy to see it was removed.

Would a sequel be good though? I kind of doubt it. If they bring the mimics back for a redo of the original plot that sounds boring. Maybe Earth would go looking for the aliens or their homeworld, but that doesn't make much sense given the technology level of humanity in the first one.

The only idea I can think of that might be interesting would be humans studying and figuring out the mimics' time abilities, then a plot based on what we do with that discovery.

I second Far Cry Primal. I played it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Set in 10,000 BC and the language in the game is actually based on reconstructed proto-indo-european. The main objective is to build up your tribe's village and become more powerful than rival tribes in the area. I think it is exactly what OP is looking for.

It does have some slightly fantastical elements, but nothing over the top or irrelevant to the setting (shaman "magic" that is basically just drug-induced hallucinations and the protagonist gains the ability to tame predators as pets).
