Honestly I wish I had a playmate just for the fun of developing on it. I’m putting this on my shopping list.

Mine just came in the mail 2 days ago (preordered in April 2022, but I think they are catching up now and the wait shouldn’t be as long for new orders, maybe) and I can’t put it down. It’s exactly the type of little handheld I’ve been craving, a modern Gameboy.

IMHO, it's a really great indie platform due to the mature SDK (which has been in development for probably 10 years at this point). For me the SDK is the best thing about the platform.
The device is very cool, though very small. I'd love one with a larger screen, it doesn't have to be higher resolution. Until then you can play games using the Mirror app (sync screen to your PC) or in the Simulator (if you're not bothered by the hardware).
Blog is powered by jekyll and a heavily modified pen-source theme. I cannot recommend jekyll — it's horrible. But, I'm locked in - at least until a sufficient quantity of rainy days and a good migration plan. Until then the output is good and fast after I put in effort to make it work well on all device types.
