    Thanks for posting this. I love that this is a thing people do, even if I never could do it myself. Also, it's time to bust out an emulator and play some ocarina of time!

      Check out Ship of Harkinian if you haven't yet. I doubt it's what you want if you're into speedrunning, but if you're just a normal player it's exactly what you want.

        This looks great! I’ve stumbled on a few of these projects that re-make or enhance popular games from earlier consoles… but hadn’t heard of Ship of Harkinian. Do you know of any other projects...

        I’ve stumbled on a few of these projects that re-make or enhance popular games from earlier consoles… but hadn’t heard of Ship of Harkinian. Do you know of any other projects that are worth looking into?

        The ones I can think of:

        • links awakening pc port (taken down by big N/dmca)
        • Metroid Prime Enhancement via dolphin emulator “PrimeHack”.
        • Mario 64 PC port (taken down by big N).
        • AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake)
        • Super Metroid PC port (recently announced).

    I love how they keep finding new ways to use glitches found a decade ago (themselves a decade after the game released) to make them useful for speedruns.

    Initially I was surprised that it was quicker than the previous route but I forgot that the wrong warp from Gohma required visiting Kakariko to get a bottle for bugs as well, and the rest of the new route is faster than running through all of the Deku Tree.
