It's a shame this couldn't be done before the huge PR hit that was the shut downs, but I'll take late than never here. Hope the team isn't too broken up by now.

I hope that Tango's remaining employees are going to a place where they're able to most effectively utilize their creativity. After Ikumi Nakamura left I was concerned that there was going to be more people leaving due to some internal issue(s) either at Tango or at Bethesda/Zenimax/Microsoft. Then Shinji Mikami left and took some of his employees with him to another studio. So I don't know what's left beyond the IP and their office in Japan.

On a related note, I have heard some people complain that Microsoft's acquisition of Activision-Blizzard hasn't been all that stellar for Microsoft (and I don't see it doing big favors to gamers). But their acquisition of Zenimax and its assortment of developers, publishing ability, and IPs, has been a huge win for them. Even with their recent closures or downsizings of Tango, Machine Games, and Arkane, among others, Microsoft got an incredible deal on the whole umbrella of IP and talent because most of the IP will keep printing money and be franchises to continue to iterate on.

Good for them. I hope they continue to release banger games. What Microsoft did to Tango was just shitty, no two ways about it.
