Unfortunately the author has since decided to take the torrent off of the Discord:
I no longer offer the torrent as I've been making a lot of updates and don't want older versions floating around. Best to always download from the website. Share the link if you want to help spread it. Thank you, much appreciated
Had a brief goose chase there in having to search comments on the Discord to find that comment just a week after the reddit post saying that they did include a torrent! Luckily the internet is good at archiving things even without my help.
Hopefully, someone will make a torrent if (when) Nintendo wakes up and shuts down everything. Tangentially, we know that Discord is kind of ubiquitous today, but don't use it to host anything...

This game is a procedurally-generated rogue-like ‘Link to the Past’ dungeon crawler. It’s not a rom hack, it was created in Gamemaker Studio from scratch using the original assets. Many new features and assets were added to this game, but special care was put in to ensure it still looks, feels, and plays like the original game.
The goal of the game is to descend through the many enemy-infested dungeons to defeat Link’s nemesis, Aghanim. Along the way you will find many weapons, items, and treasures that will help you along your quest.
This game is designed in the style of a Rogue-like dungeon crawler, which means:
The dungeon layouts, items, and enemies are randomly generated every time you play.
If you die, you will have to restart at the beginning. No continues or extra lives.
You can find the game here, as well as updates and community support:

I saw a streamer playing this the other day. It looked pretty true to the physics of the original game, which seems awesome considering it was recreated in another engine. I do see specific complaints in that reddit thread about how some physics behavior seems off, but the dev seems very willing to work on these.
I loved LttP and it's probably one of the games I've completed the most times in my life. The idea of a roguelike in that style definitely tickles my fancy. It looks pretty challenging in several regards, but when I get the ability I'd love to give this a go in the future.
This is awesome. I slapped it into Bottles on my Fedora install, worked OOTB. I didn't get too far but it feels like LTTP. It'll never be 1:1 anyway since modern game engines do things...

I didn't get too far but it feels like LTTP. It'll never be 1:1 anyway since modern game engines do things fundamentally different form back in the day, I'd assume.
The one thing I would want, which would increase playability substantially, is the hold-sword/charge attack that the 2D Zeldas have, which the company has resoundingly voted for.
