Well, I don't believe there's a second in the plan, GOG. For transparency, I've got hundreds of games on GOG so it's not like they honestly have to "sell me" on the platform. I buy games on GOG. If they want to sell me on the idea that this is about preserving games then they need to focus on Linux. Windows is not a platform that promises preservation. Fuck, I don't care, partner with Mint at least and make that your target platform or something.
I've already said this before in the GOG Forums, so it's tears in the rain, but c'mon guys. Quit stonewalling Linux.

Could they build more installers native to Linux and half ass a port of Galaxy, they could. But is their time more valuable producing and bug testing a niche version than making sure a game works perfectly on the latest Windows and trust the user to find a compatibility layer that works well with Heroic? Idk.
Oh, interesting, I didn't know that the Heroic launcher also worked with GOG games. I think I only heard about it for games from the Epic store (perhaps back when the launcher was first created?)....

I'd used Lutris a few times for non-Steam games, which seemed to work ok, but depended on someone else creating a working script for each game if you didn't know how yourself. After a while I think I just faded back to playing all games on Steam since they mostly worked.

This page seems to need a preservation program?
