Free / No IAP / Open Source Puzzle Games for iOS
I play a good deal of Simon Tatham's puzzles (iOS version) and Ordinary Puzzles (which is only one type.)
I've spent a good portion of the night trying to find some other open source / free / no IAP puzzle games, but for the most part I've come up empty.
Anybody know of some treasures out there?
Yiotro makes decent games. Not strictly puzzle, but perhaps you might enjoy them anyway? I especially like Antiyoy, which is like a minimalistic Civ game.
In a similar vein is Battle of Polytopia, also like a simplified Civ game
There are two must-experience puzzle games that are only on iphone (or at least one of them is only on iphone). I recommend that you don't read up on or look the games up too much beforehand, and instead trust me, a random stranger, and spend the dollar or two on the games to try them out.

I don't have any recommendations, but I really enjoy Ordinary Puzzles! Unfortunately I finished all of the puzzles in the app long ago. Do you know where I can find more puzzles of the same type? I'm not sure if they have a name or how to even search for others.
It's called Linjat --- and I love it so much. But yeah, like you, I crushed through them quickly.
It might be possible to use the generator to make more puzzles, then sideload them -- here's the repo
I've probably gone through the large ones a dozen times at this point. :)
