Wholesome GDQ highlight for Monday: flying_fox finding out that she might have set a world record. Then, from the very next run: Zaxon96 getting a skip and finding out that he's on world record...
Both are now confirmed, by the way. It's rare enough to see a world record at GDQ, much less two of them -- to say nothing of them being back-to-back and from games in the same series!

First run has just begun! I’m excited for the whole event, but I’m REALLY excited for the Ori race later today. Also, Mirror’s Edge is over a decade old and it still looks great.

Yeah I am excited for Ori too. But Celeste played with dance pads, and the Beat Saber Expert+ showcase are what I am most looking forward to. L4D2 solo, Skyrim glitchless, Dishonored 2, vs. of all...

L4D2 solo, Skyrim glitchless, Dishonored 2, vs. of all the Deus Ex games, and Sekiro should be fun too. And I am also really curious to see how Into The Breach can even be speedrun.
Oh definitely! There is so much to look forward to! I find the whole schedule to be so big that it's a bit overwhelming to take in all at once, so I meter my hype out on a day-by-day basis, and...

Some of these could be quite interesting. Mirror's Edge, Donkey Kong Country. Any idea where to watch them? The "VODs" link in the header goes to a Youtube channel but no links to the videos.

This was incredibly impressive, and quite nervewracking at points. I love the effort and creativity that goes into routing so that the game is playable blindfolded, and some of the stuff he pulls off is so fluid and precise that it’s easy to forget he’s doing all of this without looking.
Not trying to discourage you from posting anymore in this topic, but just as an FYI: I'm planning on doing an AGDQ 2021 roundup topic tomorrow or Mon, so people can recommend their favorite runs...

I know this event just started, but I already have a recommendation: the pre-show. It's fun and campy.
Cool! I always forget this is about to happen and every time it's a nice surprise.
Tuesday highlight: the Diablo III run was another world record. In fact, the three-person team beat the four-person co-op time!
