I was just about to say roughly the same. The only other thing I was going to add is that I genuinely hope they do offer this new service for PC eventually, since there are a bunch of Playstation...
I was just about to say roughly the same. The only other thing I was going to add is that I genuinely hope they do offer this new service for PC eventually, since there are a bunch of Playstation exclusive games/franchises I have always wanted to play, but never had the chance to (since I only ever owned a PS1). E.g. God of War, Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Colossus, Ghost of Tsushima, etc.
It's wild to me how bad so many of these offerings are at understanding what people want and showcasing it. For example, if you pull up the xbox game pass for pc website, they only present you...

For example, if you pull up the xbox game pass for pc website, they only present you with a list of all games available. There's no category for popular until you pull the actual app up. How are they not pushing their most attractive/best titles? How come I have to google what's available to get a list that will help me understand what offerings suck and which are good?
How has no one figured out that exclusive games are precisely the kind of games people will want access to play with these offerings? You could rope in a lot of people by offering an exclusive title, even if just for promotional periods of time (perhaps rotating).
Playstation Now has a streaming component available with a PC client, but I haven't heard good things about it. Hopefully it at least gets a mobile client, if not some two day old leftover ports...

They're not really trying to compete with gamepass, or the entirety of gamepass. What they're trying to compete with is
"hey, if you buy an Xbox Series S or X you can subscribe to gamepass and get a bunch of AAA games for a reasonable monthly price" - that's a value add to the Xbox as a console and that's what Sony wants to replicate - if you buy a ps5 you can also subscribe for a monthly cost and play a bunch of rotating game selections.
The small niche of people that both own a gaming PC AND multiple consoles is a market they'd not win over, but that's also too small to care about.

And they are going to need to offer all first-party AAA games on day one.
For some reason, I don't see this part happening.

I'll start all over again in Marvel's Avengers, but I'm not buying a console for Spidey, no matter how much I love the character.
