Your smile in that clip you shared says so much. :) Congratulations on the new prosthetic. And losing that much weight is absolutely worth celebrating too, and nothing to scoff at, even under the best of circumstances. So you doing it all without having a properly fitting prosthetic is especially impressive! Well done, and good luck achieving all your future goals. :)
p.s. We can't exemplary topics yet, but make a comment so I can exemplary you there! :P

p.s. You can reply to everyone, even if it's just to say thanks. If people don't want to see this topic keep popping up they can Ignore the topic. :)
Thanking people is not joking. And, in this scenario, it's not noise, either. Anyway, even if some pedantic prick did label your thank-you comments as 'Noise', it's still more pro-social and...

Comment labels like 'Joke' and 'Noise' aren't punishments, they're content management tools. So, be pro-social, make the content, and let other people worry about managing that content.
As Algernon said, thanks aren't jokes or offtopic. Even if people label "thanks" type comments as 'Noise' it's mostly to just help keep the comment section organized, by auto-collapsing the...

And in your own text topic, especially one as personal as this, I see absolutely no reason why you can't thank people who responded with kindness and support. :)
About the only place you may need to be conscientious about staying on topic and not joking around too much is in serious topics, and as top-level comments.

I don't know if I would call this advice, but something I hope can help when you get frustrated: whatever troubles or struggles you're facing, the present is fleeting. Some day, this period of time will be nothing but a distant memory. Even the hardest and most miserable days will just be some unpleasant memory to look back on. So you just need to push on through each day until you can reach that point.
What a journey!! It would have been so SO easy to give up, that shows so much dedication and mental strength on your part. I’ll share something that a friend told me when I was struggling with...

I’ll share something that a friend told me when I was struggling with arthritis and trying to get back to exercise: slow is fast. What she meant was don’t go so fast that you get injured and have to take time off or set yourself back. Go slow. Do a little today. Rest a lot. Listen to your body. If it hurts, back off. Do a little more. Scan your body again. If it doesn’t hurt you can do a little more next week. By going slow and listening to your body you avoid the injuries that will keep you out of action for weeks, and you get to your goals quicker. She was totally right! I went from being almost unable to walk to the kitchen to being able to run 7km (10km is next goal!) by diligently doing my Physio, taking my meds, and building up slowly (so slowly!!! So frustratingly slowly!!) and it was all so worth it.
Best of luck brother! Share your wins with us all when you have them. Share your frustrations when you need a boost :)

You rock! Nothing can stop you from walking, running errands, and biking in 2027 with that attitude and smile.
What a journey! Congratulations on your new prosthetic, 2027 is just around the corner :) Keep up that attitude of yours!
