I feel like I’m protected from buying into this hype by the fact my dog has cushings so I know what it is and that you have to get a specific blood test to even diagnose it. And I know she’s not just on some supplement to control it. She’s on a medication that we have to monitor her cushings to make sure the medication is still the right amount. But I will say that medication was like a magic pill, the most obvious symptom, her insatiable thirst, went away within a day of taking it. And I’m glad they have a medication for it these days cause before the fix was to cut off part of the adrenal gland which led to very possibility of the opposite (too little cortisol), addison’s crisis.
