I had to look up those codes to know what you were referring to, so for anyone else seeing this:
Waving White Flag
Variation Selector-16
Zero Width Joiner
Restroom
Anticlockwise Downwards and Upwards Open Circle Arrows
I don't think including the restroom icon, even if it visually shows the male and female symbol, is a great idea given the political history.

For a little more context, "Variant Selector-16" says that the previous character should be presented as an emoji instead of text. This is important because the default presentation of the white flag is as text. Unfortunately mobile devices seem to ignore this and display it as an emoji no matter what.
The Zero Width joiner is basically how to say "these codepoints represent one character".
The rainbow flag is 🏳 + U+FE0F + U+200D + 🌈, so the trans flag would be 🏳 + U+FE0F + U+200D + ⚧.
An extra U+FE0F at the end might be required as ⚧ is text.

🏳️ + 🌈 = 🏳️🌈, so why not 🏳️ + ⚧?

I didn't realize ⚧ had been added to unicode already haha, that's a great idea!
Did you post this in the wrong branch?
I moved it (not added to the topic log yet, hopefully I'll get that in place today).
I was debating on posting in either ~tech or ~lgbt but since I was proposing an idea for a new ZWJ sequence I felt it more went along with ~tech
Oh! I didn't realize you were proposing a new emoji. In that case it belongs in ~tech as well.
