I can't be the only one who doesn't even want to watch this trailer. I know it's going to be good, and I don't want anything spoiled. Incredibly hard to not turn that link purple.

I'm in this comment thread hoping brave souls have clicked and talk about spoilers. I also hope that all the marketing materials are just a bunch of lies and the actual movie will be different...

I thought the subversive marketing and such for the original movie(s) was very inventive (at least for the time) but I can't say that this trailer did much for me. It kind of feels like they made Deadpool into 'just another Marvel movie'. Down to the cynical use of a 80s/90s hit in the trailer to cut some wacky over-the-top action clips to.
Maybe with a good chunk of all media having gone so meta, fourth wall breaking and overtly referential since the first Deadpool it makes the whole gimmick of the character feel very.. expected?
I'll be honest, I enjoyed the heck out of the trailer and I'm there for the movie. Feel like I need to finish Loki Season 2 (my attention span for series and movies has been absolutely shot...

I feel like while it's giving away some of the plot, if it's like previous Deadpool marketing it's holding a good chunk back. Marvel trailers in general have seemed to have gotten better at this in recent years giving more of the premise and less of 'every beat of the plot.'
I LOVED Loki Season 2 - definitely worth finishing. One of the more satisfying ending of Marvel projects. Not sure how related they will end up being, even with the TVA in both, but ... time will...

Great trailer - tons of fun and, if anything, being under Disney control gave us lines like "Do you want to build a snowman?"

But yeah that whole run of jokes was hilarious, as was referencing Feige. And it's weird. This is one of those things where I will be perfectly fine if none of those jokes are in the cut that makes it into the movie
That's one of the most flexible things about deadpool: his mouth isn't visible so any time they think of something funnier they can swap it in immediately

You're not alone, but I already watched the teaser trailers a while back so I suspect I've already been spoiled enough.

What are your hopes and fears for this film?

And comedically they're willing to do a lot of takes, editing is just easier because of the mask!
Ugh, moving's the worst! We are moving this summer and just started to pack. I'm already over it!
