I didn’t watch much Atlantis (I want to say that was late high school and college, and I was just not watching much of anything), but certainly watch a lot of SG-1 and even SGU. My favorite part of SGU was the first time I heard Mumford and Sons in the season 1 finale.

The article notes the three musketeers are made up, so at least that aligns with my preconceived ideas.
Also, not explicitly related to this, I really loved the BBC The Musketeers show.

I suggest she is the main person in view because she is the one who moves from the teenage to adult form through the experience. Also, the story continues after Gregor’s death with Grete as the focal point in the ending.
I think a question it could potentially raise is if he went actually went through metamorphosis or if his transformation would be considered something else (de-evolution)?

My 8 and 4 year old daughters are super into it. 4 year old is struggling, but she loves Pokémon a ton and is still enjoying it while minimally progressing. 8 year old is doing great with it. I’m also enjoying it (37 male), but have not been singularly focused yet as I’m trying to complete the ZA DLC Pokedex.

Comment on New York Times quiz: Who’s a better writer: AI or humans? in ~tech

Stuff like, most of the human writing was not contemporary/21st century, two sentences is too small to pick from, and there needed to be an “I don’t like either” option.
That said, I imagine AI writing will continue improve and eventually be indistinguishable or preferred for a lot of people (myself included, as I picked AI 3/5 times in the quiz.
As always, I think of Jeff Goldblum in Jurrasic Park saying the scientists were so preoccupied with if they could to never stop and think about if they should.

I like the actors, though. Wouldn't have gone that old for Hal, but Kyle Chandler does have the right vibe.
If this was an original thing, I'd probably be super on board because it was a great trailer. Just not sure about it being Green Lantern at the moment.

The Discovery Global part of the business could have wound up being a tough sell, especially if no one was privately calling about (wild conjecture on my part). Getting within the ballpark for both pieces may have been more appealing than dragging it out. Netflix didn’t need it, but Paramount’s desperation may have given concessions not made public (more wild conjecture). We have Paramount+, and it mostly stinks. They need something to get competitive.
Now, the politics part is a whole other thing. I do think there’s shadiness involved (who knows how much). I also, however, think that David wants more toys in his toybox and daddy is willing to buy them.

If a bunch of Tildes people were into it, there's good community and competition features built in. it's slick on both browser and mobile app.
I don’t know what’s normal for a movie, so maybe yikes or maybe way to do the due diligence? I know I’m looking forward to it after how much I enjoyed Superman.
