    I’ll just more or less endorse this post. Sure, the city could have been a little more varied it texture, but I think it still felt pretty alive overall.

    My first actual Pokémon game was Violet, which I very much enjoyed, even though I was the right age for Blue and Red in the 90s. I did, however, watch the anime for the first 3-4 years, so that is really what I’m more nostalgic for. ZA felt way more like being in the show than Violet did, mostly because of the real time and positional battling.

    IDK, different strokes I guess. I was just really feeling it.

    Solid predictions up there. I could see Mario Maker 3 being teased, maybe even called Mario Maker 3D with a move to allowing building in the 3rd dimension. DLC for Mario Kart seems plausible....

    DLC for Mario Kart seems plausible. Maybe for Pokopia, but I’d expect that to be held for a Pokémon event.

    Also, you should play ZA! It’s one of my favorite games ever.

    Pokopia is life changing and was worth the price of admission for us, but I also have two kids in the prime age for it. I’m also mostly just into the kind of games Nintendo puts out anyway, so...

Then it came back up, and the Provost told everyone to go export the grades real quick in case it goes back down. A nice extra stressor with ? additional consequences to add to finals week.

    ZA was so good! I'm a few of the last 'mons away from finishing the Hyperspace dex (Pokopia got in the way), and it's just been a joy throughout. I have trouble thinking of any game I've enjoyed...

Maybe if Iger had theoretically really hated Trump in his last days, but no way the new guy goes into a legal battle with the FCC as his first act.

    Just finished the audiobook - almost quit a few times early on but overall glad I pushed through (which is always easier to do listening!)

    I remember when I was like 5 or 6, my parents, in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, were looking to adopt and had started meeting with one of the agencies doing Chinese adoptions. In the end, it was too expensive a process and my sister and brother, who were adopted at 5 and 4, look pretty similar to the rest of our family.

    I found this portion interesting generally, but also in thinking about what might have happened in my own life. Even without the monumental cross cultural and ethnic divide, I heard a lot from Haley that I’ve heard or seen from my sister over the decades.
