This is Spielberg? Feels like a made for TV casting film you would find at 1am on Syfy right after a marathon leading up to Tremors XXXI. The story and effects seem so lackluster. Sort of a "heard the plot and saw the box art of Annhilation and decided to make their own".
A friend was telling me about it and maybe we're both looking into it too much, but like...are we dealing with aliens here? Gods? Demons? something else? And if it's just aliens are we talking...

That's interesting enough to get me to watch it...probably on streaming or on an invite from that same friend to go see it in theater.
