The Patriots Bills game on Sunday night was wild and close, and then same thing last night with the Jaguars Chiefs game.

Absolutely hilarious game-winning touchdown by the Jaguars.

The football gods must have been drunk when it came to Titans @ Cardinals. The Titans had no business winning that game, the Cards just kept sabotaging themselves over and over and over, all in the most comical ways.

Kyler getting hit in the face with the snap? CHECK

The RB going for 72 yards only to pull a Desean Jackson because he wanted to look casual across the line? CHECK (bonus points for being the score that would have shut away the game)

An INT that was immediately fumbled and batted into the endzone for an ultimate Titans TD? CHECK

Letting the Titans, who have struggled all game to be consistent, casually drive down the field and kick the game winning FG? CHECK

This is a legendary collapse of epic proportions. It WILL end up in a Jon Bois video at some point when they get a good reason to talk about it. Probably when he and Alex decide to do a "History of the Cardinals" series.

The Yakety Sax Bowl. It's a perfect encapsulation of the Kyler-led Cardinals - great plays amidst a bunch of chaos which ultimately amounts to nothing because of a silly turnover.

ended up just catching the final quarter right as the Broncos started their comeback. What an absolute mess the Eagles were on both offence and defence, considering they couldn't stop the Broncos or move the ball any. I remember a stat popping up at some point near the end, and rushing yards for the quarter was something like 150 yards for Broncos, 15 for the Eagles.

Bills :( But on the other hand: Baker Mayfield is having a great year and it's so great seeing him and the bucs succeed :), some fun clean wholesome football.

The Commanders/Chargers game was really good. I watched the game with my parents and boy are they really opinionated about the Redskins -> Commanders name change. :/ Dolphins lost...big surprise....

    Dolphins lost...big surprise.

Pats beat the Bills, which is hilarious. Thank you to New England for helping preserve Miami's perfect season claim for another year.

    Your resident Carolina fan here

This team struggles to inspire confidence. We trot out every week and promptly shoot ourselves in the foot on the first few drives by either doing nothing all or turning the ball over. Sloppy, boring, uninspired play that makes it difficult to watch when we go down 17-0 within the first quarter. But I guess I just keep watching to torture myself more like the masochist I am. At least we didn't abandon the run and... brought the score back to a reasonable deficit by halftime?? XL caught a TD in a way that makes him look competent?

Hold on, did someone issue the wrong script? This cant be right. We not only claw our way back in, but do so on Rico Dawdle's 206 yard rushing performance to take the lead in the 4th? No, no, something isn't right. We look too much like a normal football team.

Ahh... there it is. We give up a stupid number of yards on the kickoff. Then Tua throws a deep bomb for a TD to retake the lead. That sounds about right. There's the collapse I expected. The return to incompetence we all expect of this era's Panthers. We'll get the ball back and try but fail to get any momen-- wait, did we just convert 4th down? Moving the ball with relative confidence? Score the game winning TD?!?!

Okay, I have to ask: what even is this team? It's schrodinger's football team, where the are both acceptable and awful all over the course of the same game. One minute we are just a speed bump for actual teams and another we are accurate and deadly in some game changing aspect of our play.

We are likely going to lose to the Cowboys. No sane person should bet on the Panthers here, but the some crazy bullshit is going to happen and I'm going to believe again. Then they'll hit me in the nuts and remind me that they actually are bad and I should feel bad for having hope.

On to next week, I guess.

I started watching App State football last year, and watched the Texas A&M upset, as well as the Hail Mary vs Troy. In my opinion App State and the Panthers share the same quality in that they have the capacity to win and also lose against any team no matter how good or bad they are. You expect them to lose, and then they randomly pull something out of their ass and beat a team they have no business being competitive with for seemingly no reason

As someone who watches their games, what is the difference between Good Panthers and Bad Panthers? Everytime I see them, they're either getting their asses kicked, or kicking someone else's ass - no in between. Is Bryce the modern Tebow? Do they open conservatively then open up in the second half? I don't get it.

All I know is that it's fun to observe safely and from a distance. Plus, when they win I get to think about this guy.

Honestly, I've been trying to ask this question on what changes. One of the few subs I still visit on reddit is the Panthers sub, and there isn't one consistent answer.

Bryce is a frequent scapegoat, but he can't shoulder all the blame. It's every type of problem an offense can have, all rearing their heads at random moments. No one explanation covers these issues. Sometimes people complain about Bryce's size, but he rarely has his balls batted. Bryce can heave it down the field and throw with accuracy and anticipation. He will go from making you scratch your head in confusion to making you have to clean your jaw off the floor from some crazy play he made. This entire offensive unit is Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde and I really struggle to figure out what the true root cause is. Bryce's stats aren't great relative to his peers, but I struggle to put it all on him.

All I want is consistency, but this team will torture me by refusing to give it. I just hope we can win enough to beat last year's win total
