I'd love to see Danny come in the top three for F1.5 (Aston included.) Some fun stuff happening behind the scenes these days.
I think Danny is only sitting in for this season, having Liam coming from Super Formula with his championship.
edit: some nice runs from Yuki in FP1 and FP2. Even though it doesn't mean anything, finishing ten spots up from Danny is great.
I feel for Yuki. Instead of having a relatively low-stakes season, now the conversation has shifted to moving to RB to replace Checo. Its crazy.

Hope it's more fun to watch than it was to race but either way I'm looking forward to the return of Ricciardo!

After FP2 McLaren is still looking really good. Alpine was not a slouch either today. Was * very* surprised by Yukis performance, DR looking rusty but I think he will get back into the swing of things.
Hülkenberg out here looking like Ken had me chuckling and his performance was, as per usual not bad.
Really hope that Danny Ric of pre-McClaren shows up this weekend instead of his orange shell. I’m a Ferrari/LEC fan so this year has been pretty disappointing so far and I want some silver lining...

I can't wait to see how the jumbled grid settles out after the first few laps tomorrow.
Alfa Romeo definitely shocked me. P5 for Zhou and P7 for Bottas is incredible. Having someone else sitting on pole is fantastic too, hope it goes well for Hamilton tomorrow. Had it not been for...

Had it not been for Russell's tough luck, Ricciardo would've been knocked out in P16, for sure. Not that it matters anyway, since thanks to that AlphaTauri, He's not gonna be able to pull it above where he qualified anyway. However, MY BOY'S BACK, LET'S GO DANNY RIC!
Oh, and Ferrari continues to disappoint with a P11 and a P6. Also, whatever happened to Aston? I miss seeing Alonso on the podium :(

Glad someone else is on pole, but I was really pulling for it to be Lando. I'm glad Danny Ric is back, but yeah that Alpha Tauri is just disastrous. Hopefully they can develop something and come back with a new setup as well as the new team name.
I think Aston's problem is that everyone else's upgrades have surpassed their off-season development. My hopes for an Alonso win this year are quickly dissolving.

What a Q3. McLaren looking strong again is amazing news for me.
I can't imagine Lewis is going to hold that P1. At least not for long.
Or maybe Max and Lewis take each other our at Turn 1. Then McLaren 1-2.

Alonso after qualifying has been saying that the new tires introduced in Silverstone seem to be affecting their performance, and Red Bull's, and this was a track Aston was expecting to do well in. I don't think they're gonna be able to pull out any more great races for the rest of the season which is a shame but hopefully they'll be back in the fight next season.
