Wow, hope he is okay. Awful to see. I'm not a big Ricciardo fan but he just got his second chance. Heartbreaking. Here's hoping he can safely and healthily race this weekend.

Just saw that he's out this weekend: Ricciardo out of F1 Dutch GP with injured hand, Lawson to sub That sucks for him. I imagine that also means he's out of Monza, since that's next weekend.
That's big. I hope Lawson has a good race but also hope we don't see the same hype that happened with De Vries. Lawson is promising but it would be unfortunate to see another young talent burned...

Man, I really think Red Bull (read: Marko) fucked up with this one. Should've waited till next season to bring Ricciardo on like he wanted. Then he would have had time to prep and strengthen....

De Vries is not a young driver, he's 28.
Funny to see Zandvoort in the headlines. The nude beach there is one of my favorites. Good times, good memories.
