Me and my team ran an online nightclub in an MMO and it was our first year anniversary/birthday! We had DJ's and it was a lot of fun just chilling out with the community that have come to support us throughout the last 12 months.

Then went out with my husband for a good ol' Sunday brunch and wander round our local shopping centre to work off the food and coffee. Then we came home and he delved into Diablo 4, while I did some raiding in the aforementioned MMO! All in all a rather full and productive weekend <3

I had a quiet weekend with my wife, finished up Ted Lasso and (UK) Ghosts, ate some delicious smoked pork belly, and got caught up on chores. Today's the last day of a week-long home vacation, so I'm feeling a little bittersweet about going back to work tomorrow despite getting plenty of time to rest and relax.

It wasn't too hot outside so I did some landscaping and other outdoor tasks.

I sat out back and watched the first game of the Stanley Cup. Sunday I watched a few dirt races and the Nascar race. Monday has a lot of doctor appointments not looking forward to those.

It was a movie marathon for us. We watched Baby Driver (solid 7.5/10), Spider Man: Into the Spiderverse (8/10) and then Across the SpiderVerse in theater (9/10). Other than that, it was keeping up on the chores and trying to wind down before yesterday swept us all back into the doldrums lol.

ETA: I'm not big into the superhero movies at all, but the Spiderverse movies are legitimately good movies that happen to be about a super hero. I'd definitely recommend people check them out, even if Marvel/DC aren't your bag typically.

Oh! I havent watched the second spider verse movie yet but I really liked the first. I'm glad to hear you gave it an even higher rating. It's a tough act to follow for sure.

Well it's been a bit of a bummer sadly.

Me and my partner had a baby last year, she's a blast and we have great fun with her.

Anyway she turned one in late April and me and my partner booked a week away to St Andrews because it's all we can really afford at the moment but St Andrews is lovely anyway and it's only an hour up the road.

We're both excited for our holiday, we head up Monday afternoon and chill Monday night, even relaxed in the hot tub at the lodge we booked once the wee one was down for the night.

Then Tuesday the wee ones sick at 10:30am, and again at 3:30pm. We anxiously chill at the lodge that day hoping it's a 24 hour bug. Wednesday arrives, I get up with her, feed her breakfast at 7:00am, it's not even 7:30am and she vomits it up again and then while I'm changing her she has explosive diarrhea! So we make the decision to pack up and head home.

The wee ones been sick twice since, took her to the doc who told us it's probably just a viral bug that's been going around and it should pass by Friday or Saturday so we just need to persevere.

Now we're sitting in bed, knackered, little ones asleep in her cot and we're both just a bit gutted and scunnered that the wee ones ill and our first holiday since summer 2021 ended like it has.

Went to a Skydiving Boogie for the weekend and had a great time. I learned a lot. I got my 99th jump and we had a whole cool jump planned for my 100th but alas, the weather got in the way....

My past two weekends have been packed with activities with my friends, as well as a long drive to a local festival.

This week, one of my kids has swimming lessons, so we've been up everyday and off to the pool, myself and my two kids and then hanging out with my mother in law; today she watched the kids so I could go do some grocery shopping and now I'm just wiped. One more lesson tomorrow and then I'm right to just try and take it easy for the weekend; mow my lawn, chill out and paint some of my WW2 miniatures. It'll be nice to be quiet, for the most part and recharge my social battery.

That said, my niece and nephew are in town for a little bit, so I'd like to see them, I just hope I have the energy.
