But the one I can never get enough of is plastic or paper crinkling. Also, the types of ASMR that get me the most are the unintentional kind.
Most current INTENTIONAL ASMR, is TAP FRENZY, meaning the majority of them tap like crazy like it's going out of style. It's the one ASMR trigger that I can no longer stand and as soon as I hear it, it's an instant turn off.
Also, if I hear music, it's an immediate turn off as well.

It wasn’t a particularly bad game, per se, but I felt that overall it didn’t do much to really move the game forward or make it feel like a true leap. The game was more of the same and while that’s not a bad thing by any stretch…I just felt underwhelmed. So disappointing was a good word for my viewpoint. I wish it evolved the game play more. I really think the best thing they did was add a flying mount…that you get at very end of the game.
I did enjoy the game though. I just wish more was done to evolve it.

CriticalBass As a community manager...I believe it. Thank you for sharing your experience, though. It's nice to see the perspective. Thank you for sharing your experience, though. It's nice to see the perspective. This is one of the reasons why I actually don't want Tildes to get "big", ,so to speak. Activity =/= popularity and the larger a website like reddit becomes, the harder it is to manage communities and its features. reddit became too big to handle and now, in order to maintain its server costs and make a buck, are going against the grain and charging for APIs and fucking users in the process.

I don't think it's happened (I'm not versed enough into "reddit politics" enough to venture a guess), but I feel like that moderating too many big communities can:
- Lead to becoming very power hungry, manipulative behaviors.
- Become too exhausting to keep up with.
I run a Discord server with only 600 members and there's a lot to keep up with. I can't imagine how it must be for servers over the million mark...and you're managing more than three of those at a time.

Sharing those tracks on AIM (AOL Instant Messenger for you youngin's here) or MSN Messenger and playing Counter-Strike. That was the glory days of the internet and was just at the height of the whole "broadband" switch all of us were making at the time. Exploring the internet back then was like a gateway into America's wild-west...it was uncharted territory and now those territories have become civilised. It's not the same place we grew up with. It's evolved and with it the ease of use and instant gratification.
It's not all bad nowadays, but the allure of just searching the internet and finding things out isn't as attractive as it used to be. Places liked reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram makes things easier to peruse and get satisfied on the content streams.
YouTube made it even easier to get our entertainment fix too. It's not the same, but I don't feel like that's a bad thing either.

Been looking for a new person to spend my time with, but online dating sucks and I don’t drink so it’s hard to go out to a bar to meet new people. Not to mention the lack of experience I have with dating has my confidence low.
I’ve had a few dates here and there over the years, but haven’t found the right person yet. I’ll know when I find her of course, but it’s getting tougher.

Case in point:
I fucking loathe Bethesda games. I think they’re all boring, horrendously designed, and buggy games. That doesn’t mean that I disrespect the fan base or get mad when people love those games over my favorites. Different strokes.

One of them already hit a homerun with me in Tears of the Kingdom. It’s literally one of the best games I’ve ever played. The other is Final Fantasy XVI. Final Fantasy is my favorite franchise and it’s the game I’ve been looking forward to the most this year. But after TOTK, I don’t know what other game this year will hit the same highs as that, even Final Fantasy.

Note this was originally posted on my Facebook, but it hasn’t changed:
I feel like the my thoughts have been everywhere regarding Zelda in the last few games. I've always consider Ocarina of Time to be the measuring stick. I've thought that way even after completing Breath of the Wild and beyond.
Those thoughts have ceased. Tears of the Kingdom is now my favorite Zelda and Nintendo game of all time.
Let's the get (small) critiques out of the way, the TOTK has it fair share of performance issues, but it also fixed other issues that plagued Breath of the Wild. Just small things like dumping inventory to make way to better items, or even in some cases fixing issues like The Lost Woods slowdown.
All of this issues are so, extremely minor compared to vast amount of content, fun, and just otherworldly detail that Nintendo and the creative unit made for Tears of the Kingdom. When you realize it's not just the sky and Hyrule itself, but whole other world underneath the lands of Hyrule, I was just dropped. Tears of the Kingdom even with it's issues is still a technical marvel.
That's not even scratching the surface of all there is to do. I played most of the game just exploring, I didn't have a set path, I just did whatever I wanted because Nintendo gave me that chance to do it. I was rewarded with the brand new abilities such as Fuse (which makes find weapons even more rewarding than it did before), the ultra handy (no pun intended) Ascend and Recall, and of course the best ability in the series: Ultrahand. It pushed me to my ultimate creative freedom, even if the game is a bit limited what you can do with that freedom. And then you bring back dungeons, while may not be as detailed as the older games, still had a lot of nice little surprises and familiarity within the older games, was a great touch.
And then there was the story (I'll say nothing about it) that is easily one of the best the franchise (if you've beaten the story, let me know because I need to talk about it) including one of the best final boss fight in the series, period.
I can go on and on for hours, but then it would get too spoilery, so I'll stop it up and summarize here and it's fairly simple:
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently my Game of the Year favorite. It's not official yet, but I don't see any game beating it out of me. It's my favorite Zelda game, my favorite Nintendo game...No, it's not just that, it's my favorite game of all time, now surpassing even Final Fantasy XIV...a feat I never would have expected. It took 12 hours upon completing the game to really cement that feeling down. It's a masterclass.
TOTK is the measuring stick of how I will be judging and critiquing video games in the future.
10/10

But a lot of music has been synthwave, but even that I’ve taken a bit of a break from, so right now I’ll just list some of my favorites:
Sophie Teenage Dream - morgan willis this one is a full album because it’s amazing.
Just a small sample size of my favorite synthwave track.
New England Patriots.
I started watching in 1996-1997 when the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl. I didn't like football at all until I knew the Patriots were in. We lost that one, but it was still a fun experience and then I became I big fan of Drew Bledsoe and how he handled the QB position. Then, of course, as the years went by and we got Belichick and Brady....well, it just took off running. Been a fan ever since our glory days and won't stop. But, I'm also NOT a blind fan, our glory days are very much behind us and it will never be as open and closed as it used to be.
With that said, I continue to love the Patriots and will always do so. I mean, I live in MA, so I kind of have to like them lol.
