You can request to see your own report. I highly recommend everyone do so, you can do so via email if you'd rather not sign up for an account. Take a good hard look at it. And remember Equifax also maintains your credit report. My employer partners with them, so they have a copy of every one of my paystubs. Which potential future employers can see to tether my future pay to my current pay.
Everyone whom criticizes China's social score without looking in to what the US's looks like is doing themselves a massive disservice.
The FBI is also collecting DNA profiles at a similar rate as China. Our governments have much more in common than many Americans would like to think (not that they're entirely equivalent).

I swear, Equifax can go fuck itself several times over with the prickly end of a wooden broom. They're caught in so many scandals but fuck everyone else over. Their credit rating system is piss...
I swear, Equifax can go fuck itself several times over with the prickly end of a wooden broom. They're caught in so many scandals but fuck everyone else over. Their credit rating system is piss poor and doesn't make sense. The fact that banks and shitty creditors use Equifax just makes everything much more asinine. And this isn't even mentioning the fact that Equifax has poorer reputability and credibility than the people they rate, as Equifax has had data breaches and was caught selling information. Fuck Equifax.
Experian reported me as Above Average while Equifax reported me as Below Average. That's a huge difference. I tend to believe Experian when I literally have ZERO defaults, arrears, late payments,...
Experian reported me as Above Average while Equifax reported me as Below Average. That's a huge difference. I tend to believe Experian when I literally have ZERO defaults, arrears, late payments, missed payments, or any bunch of other shady shit. My Equifax only reported me as such because I was "shopping around for the best interest rates," where websites explicitly mentioned it won't impact your credit score, as part of "financial savviness."
And giving how many of the experienced engineers were fired, or quit, it's more likely than not that all of these ambitious additions will be poorly and hastily programmed. Turning it into a big,...
I get the impression that he thinks that by programing various modules without any real use-case will suddenly make people adopt his solution. It's the polar opposite of any agile / rapid-prototyping approach, and it'll most likely result in a gigantic, mind-blowingly expensive failure.
And giving how many of the experienced engineers were fired, or quit, it's more likely than not that all of these ambitious additions will be poorly and hastily programmed. Turning it into a big, messy pile of code which I would not trust to keep the data secure.
It feels more like Musk is trying to make Twitter/X into his dream project of how he would like the Internet to work. Not what people or businesses want or need.
Not sure about the “building a house” metaphor. I’m reminded of LinkedIn, which most people don’t use unless they’re looking for a job, and yet it persists. Also, this is reading the tea leaves...

Also, this is reading the tea leaves based on a policy change. We haven’t seen the app yet. I have low expectations, but It seems too early to judge whatever it is they plan on doing?

...if you keep using it, and you should stop using it for multiple reasons.
Jokes aside, if people want to keep using Twitter, at this stage it's fully on them. I never found it enticing or useful enough to even get an account, but if I had one I'd have certainly deleted it by now. People who still hold on to their accounts are just beyond saving, I think. I treat them the same way I treat people who eat feces as a kink - as long as they don't encourage me to join them, I'm fine with them enjoying their hobby, but in general I keep as far away from them as possible...
Musk's ongoing attempt to turn Twitter into an everything app sees a "a massive data grab" on employment data and biometric facial data.

It's really not just Equifax. It's the entire credit reporting industry across the entire globe.

Future employers seeing your current pay is a nightmare scenario.
That's salary suppression for everyone. No more disloyalty bonus.

Yeah- It’ll never happen. I swear he’s just there to drum up noise and make the app as bad as possible if not outright destroy it. Billionaire games.
