          There are other archives which are more permanent. Archive.org has had issues with certain pages being removed. Which is why archive.ph exists, and a few others.

          It's likely people just doing it to do it, but if we're looking for something with more reason, I could see this being some government like NK telling people to get that off the internet because...

          It's likely people just doing it to do it, but if we're looking for something with more reason, I could see this being some government like NK telling people to get that off the internet because it's preserving something they don't like.

          Obviously they're not going to succeed, and if it was actually NK it probably would have lasted longer, but that's the best model I can come up with that's not a bunch of fuckheads screwing around because they can.

        That's a really good point, archive has a ton of bandwidth and is a perfect place to test. I wonder if we'll see a big DDOS on a high value target soon.
