Thanks for the tracker! I just registered there and it's amazing, the community is great and the books! I even found three dartlang books - and I thought almost no one uses the language.

I really don't understand how none of the legal services can be as well organized as what was.
I use IPTorrents. I know there are much better trackers (both for selection and ethics), but one of my coworkers invited me and it meets all my needs, so I've never bothered branching out.

Oink and later What will forever both have a place in my heart however as far as current trackers go, I'm really into HDbits, MAM as noted earlier, Waffles, and Redacted. I'm also a huge fan of...
Oink and later What will forever both have a place in my heart however as far as current trackers go, I'm really into HDbits, MAM as noted earlier, Waffles, and Redacted. I'm also a huge fan of Karagarga, trancetraffic, audionews (talk to me if you make ambient oriented music!), deepbass9, and NotWhat. I love all of these trackers and more for various reasons.
I don't take my membership at any private tracker for granted (I am especially grateful for Karagarga and HDbits which have great communities). I've spoken at length regarding the enormous benefit and satisfaction one gets out of participating in these sorts of forums and I believe that they play a larger role beyond the simple exchange of media that services like Netflix and Spotify will never be able to fulfill.
I'd say giving out (invite) codes is actually Tildes tradition! Short after tildes started, there were like 3 threads where people were giving out tons of steam keys. It was eventually shut down...

HD Torrents. While the latest movies and shows are always well seeded, it's also great for finding 10+ year old stuff with multiple seeders. Rules are decent and invite quotas are generous.

They are amazing for people like me who have an audiobook addiction and Audible just doesn't cut it.
Another good source is Overdrive through your local library. DRM-free mp3s.
The only private tracker I'm a part of and genuinely the community is amazing. <3

WhatCD was my favorite. I really need to get in to a new music tracker

WCD introduced me to a ton of new music that I would have never found otherwise. I really miss that place.
Is RED not accepted as a replacement to WCD?
It probably is but I don't have an account on it and its such a pain to get one.
It's super worth it if you're actually into music. The interview process is a bit of a pain, but it's a one-time pain and then you're golden.

What kind of tracker are you looking for?
I'd appreciate an invite, currently just use TBP over TOR.
I'll gladly take you up on that.

As an aside - how does everyone feel about invite begging? Personally I enjoy giving out invites, but it seems un-Tildes-like to me.

I used to have an account on TorrentDay but I neglected it and my account got deleted. I'd like to get into IPT but I need either an invite or to pay.

I would definitely appreciate invites to any of these if possible. Thanks for considering!
