Is there a way to make new groups?

Or could anyone share info about tildes' approach to groups?

I'm new and actually kind of delighted to be here. I'd be interested in a group about legal issues.

Anyway, cheers.

No, not at present. Possibly with limited/restricted ability in the future. Welcome. I’d recommend giving the docs a look as well to familiarize yourself.

I have a legal education and I would be interested in such a group, but I think it has to come from the top if it is possible at all.

The prevailing opinion is that posts regarding lawsuits, trials, and law related stuff should be groupped by related topics of interest. So the Twitter lawsuit would go in ~tech, Johnny Depp's trial could go in ~movies and so on. At the moment, there is not much interest in content that is about law itself, so the practice is to post those in ~humanities with a law tag.

I'm in the judiciary--I can talk about this stuff forever. And listen--no real lawyer would give legal advice, even anonymously. We could be disbarred for that.

Doesn't stop it from happening of course.

      Anyway, cheers.

Is there a tutorial I can read somewhere?

I am looking around and reading what I can and most everything seems intuitive but this has me stumped.
    Sorry to trouble you.

Edit: Never mind - I did locate some instructions on commenting so I will wait for a new post to pop up and see if I can navigate.

Like what the other guy said I'd say to check out the docs if you haven't already.
