Could we get a formal megathread for the Trump cases, to include both upcoming and ongoing legal action?
The legal discussion is not exactly the same as US politics. I would imagine that we have people who would like to follow it and people who prefer strongly to avoid it.
For example, today we had these two events and I didn't even look hard.

Feel free to make one!
I mean this entirely positively and not in a dismissive way at all. Outside of some recurring posts that Deimos has scheduled, we don’t have “official” megathreads here. Anyone can make one! For example: @skybrian’s AI megathreads which have been going on for months now.
If you feel like it’s a good idea to have a megathread for this topic then go for it. Your thread will become the de facto official one!
Personally I would prefer to not have a megathread. I don't want to to come back to a singular area for things - I like getting headlines on my feed that let me decide if I want to read into it or not.
I hear you. Just checking in with the community about the best way to nerd out on the subject without causing friction.
Official recurring megathreads are usually only made when a particular topic overwhelms the site for an extended length of time (like the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine). They're not usually preemptively made. And so far there hasn't been enough news about Trump's legal cases being posted to really warrant a recurring megathread, IMO. But nothing is stopping you (or anyone else) from creating your own one-off or recurring megathreads.
I've noticed multiple posts from you about wanting to control what appears on your feed. Honestly, the frequency of posts on tildes in extremely low. You could easily manually hide anything you don't care to see, or set up some extensions to further curate your front page content if unsubscribing from subs isn't enough.
If submissions are getting updated and discussed, it's because other people are interested in it.
There is no need to create an extension... Tildes has built in topic tag filtering. If anyone here doesn't want to see Trump related topics, they can just add
donald trump
to their filter. If only there was such a filter for real life!
I think you may have me confused with someone else. But thanks for your perspective. I want to nerd out about the trials, but not everyone here is American.
