Please stop subscribing new accounts to a set of groups
It's really annoying, since you have to go in and manually unsubscribe from the groups that you don't like

Your arguments make sense. This is my first account on tides.
The discoverability of groups/subscriptions is the underlying issue.
Perhaps some sort of onboarding flow would eventually be appropriate, where you are given ability to peruse the menu options available or can dive straight in?
Now that was the problem. Thanks a lot! :)
How many new accounts are you making?
This is my first account on Tildes.
Welcome! I like this place. :)
Thanks!
So you’ll probably only have to do that once. Is it really that bothersome?
It's just a bit annoying :)
I moved the topic over to ~tildes and fixed the title. I hope that’s ok.
I think most people would be confused by a workflow where they see content on the frontpage, create an account, and no longer see content.
Ah. Ok
Thanks! I just can't edit the title. (I actually wanted the username you have)
haha sorry I was faster then and thanks for the mention @Kuromantis
When I read the title I checked if someone created ali01 til ali06 already
Ok. :)
Uh, there's a reply button.
You didn't use it so @ali will only know you replied by the mention in this comment or by coming back to this post.
Also you can only edit the title after a few minutes and maybe after your account is a few days old.
I thought I used the reply button...
I am a giddy goat
Ok then.
