    It’s kind of surprising how common flood-damaged vehicles are, given that they are movable and there typically is some warning. You’d think people who own expensive cars would be more careful...

    It’s kind of surprising how common flood-damaged vehicles are, given that they are movable and there typically is some warning. You’d think people who own expensive cars would be more careful about leaving them on higher ground?

    Maybe someday cars will alert their owners about flood risks.

      Many, many, many used cars in the USA have flood damage. Online car sales exacerbate these problems.

      Lots of families have multiple cars. And I assume if you’re performing an emergency evacuation you want to keep the family together in one car. Given the nature of emergencies and that a much more...

      Lots of families have multiple cars. And I assume if you’re performing an emergency evacuation you want to keep the family together in one car.

      Given the nature of emergencies and that a much more valuable, immovable, asset is already getting flooded I don’t blame anyone for leaving a car in the garage.

        not only that, but electric cars cant carry as much or go as far as ICE cars, so in an emergency which one gets left behind?
