The CGI WarCraft movie I thought was mildly entertaining but not great. Given Blizzard's fantastic CGI trailers and in-game cinematics, I thought a movie adaptation would have been a slam dunk. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down.
A collection of short stories based on various IPs represents some amount of risk mitigation - it gives brand recognition of multiple audiences; if some of the episodes aren't that great, other ones might "make up for it"; doing episodes rather than full-length films lets them focus on tight stories with lower costs per IP. And if some episodes become very popular, they can make follow-up episodes in the next "season".
From the short glimpse in the trailer, the GCI looks great too.

I've never played most of the titles in phoenixrises' comment above, but I also hadn't played Fallout, and I'll definitely still be watching! Super excited for this era of video games being adapted to the small and big screen
I’m ambivalent about this project, but hopeful that in some way its existence increases the likelihood of a PS5 release of The Outer Worlds 2 whenever it happens.

Wasn't super impressed with the trailer, but AC/Megaman/Spelunky all interest me.
PlayStation -> God of War, anything else?
Jin Sakai appears, so Ghost of Tsushima too
