So, I loved King of the Hill. I saw some trailers and previews before the reboot and I was so skeptical about it being good.
Sat down to watch over the weekend and I loved it. The animation is still great. The character continuity is impeccable and the writing is still top-notch. Voice actors could be a bit better for some of the characters but that is a minor gripe.
If you like King of the Hill - give the new season a shot!
I loved it too! It really did feel like we were jumping right back into this world. I enjoyed seeing how the characters changed in some ways, but also stayed the same in others. It felt authentically KotH. I already want another season. As far as VA goes, Kahn is the only real problem I have. That one either needs to improve or be replaced.
Glad you liked it. Ditto about Kahn. Voice actor kinda feels like he is phoning it in. Here's to hoping it gets better!
I often joke about the shows my wife watches. Her tastes are stereotypically girly. When I saw her watching Lena Dunham's[1] Too Much I meant to do that. Instead, I sat on the couch and watched parts of it with her. I think I'll watch the entire show now. But I won't tell her. Just kidding, I'll totally surprise her by casually mentioning how I either hate or love some of these characters and why.

I rarely watch TV shows as I am mostly in ~movies but I have really been enjoying the Appel TV show The Studio. Just the first three episodes, but is an absolute hoot with its satirical cringe comedy of a Hollywood studio. It is full of references an inside jokes, maybe mostly funny for filmgeeks, but in general it is a very tightly written show that is almost constantly funny without relying on traditional setup punchline format.
I watched the first two episodes of Alien: Earth, and I thought going in that I'd like them. Alien, the first movie in the franchise, is one of my all time favorites.
They've gone to a lot of trouble to recreate the look of the original movie in this series, and since it is set two years before the time of the movie, there's good reason for that.
But so far... I'm still on the fence. Neither of the first two episodes pulled me in. I'll continue watching, but I'm not sure the plot lines and quality of the writing are going to improve.
I watched the first couple episodes of My Adventures with Superman and it's been surprisingly good. I honestly have never been really into much superheroes, I think the most I did was watch Spiderman a couple of times, the RWBY Movie and I felt satisfied. Especially with how cliche Superman seemed to be, I thought the media he had would mostly be generic.
The show so far reminds me quite a bit of Voltron but in a positive way, sure the animation can be a bit iffy sometimes but the characters are really good and the show has given me and my partner a lot of laughs. Might end up checking more DC stuff after this, since I only really watched Marvel stuff so far.
I enjoyed the first two seasons of Superman & Lois (live action) quite a bit too. I intend to watch the rest.
Oh I will put it on my watchlist! Certainly interested to check more of the franchise
Dropout.tv is doing a thing - there's an ARG for releasing episode 11 of season 7 of game changer.
They released snippets of QR codes that you can put together to find a website. That website requires a secret password. If enough people fill out the password, the new episode should drop.
The answer
Go to ep11.love. Click on the circles. Enter the password "samalamadingdong"
He's been here the whole time
All credit to the people who figured this out, especially with all the false ARG guesses from previous season(s)
