Being able to play a game that doesn't require thinking, and that I can leave on for hours while I work and then go back and go full ham on spending is a blast. I have been watching a bunch of youtube videos on road ways and how to better use them as well as mods to help with it. Before that it was OpenTTD but that got to be too much like work so I stopped with it. Still a great game though.

It is fun to fight a boss/whatever and swap back to old graphics just for a nostalgic moment. Then switch back to the new higher res graphics. Also realized I never finished all five acts, and have been having a blast going through it.

It may not be ultra form fitting and hug every single curve of your body, but it does have pockets, is an absolutely rocking custom piece, AND YOU MADE IT!!! This is really awesome! This is a huge win Do you do tailoring, or is this your first time entirely? You could maybe take it to an alterations shop and ask them to tailor it to you, and watch what they do. I am 100% certain your are very aware of all the cuts, stitches, and flow of each piece of cloth because YOU MADE IT and are more awesome for it. Due to this awareness you should easily be able to tell what they did and learn from that to make your next awesome piece of clothing even more awesome! Seriously- this is really cool. I know for damn sure I would compliment you if I saw you wearing it!

Not uncommon considering the previous two, but it was a bit… extra.
Gross stuff happened. Possibly NSFW/L
Sunday there was a blister, about the size on my thumbnail near the wound. It became finger length by the end of the day. So I checked into the ER, was admitted to the hospital and had a procedure the next morning. Another two days later to remove all the necrotic tissue. Another this morning to ensure they got it all. -

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962). ( https://www.army.mil/values/oath.html )
I know it states we will obey the orders, but that is superseded by the oath to support and defend the Constitution.

Essentially the steps are to repeat the order back to the person giving it, clarifying that it is indeed what they stated. Then if that is correct clarify HOW it is illegal and that it should not be carried out. THEN, if they STILL want to do it, you can state that you want to speak to their superior officer for clarification or that you will not/cannot do it. Then you face the consequences of your actions, and you had better damn well be right or you will probably lose your job, career, and possibly go to jail.

I am however, NOT ok with the stupidity that is the 500ft thing. I get that they want to justify business owners protecting their place (roof Koreans in LA riots of the 90's), but the breadth of the statement (I have not read the laws drafts, just the article so it could be sensationalism) is horrifying.

If Trump and his allies lose, they could raise up arms and be 'legitimatized' by being recognized as the real US government by such allies as Russia. If they win, through extra-legal means, then it would be a coup.
As for the military, when I was in I couldn't see Active Duty going against the people of the US. We are sworn to uphold the constitution of the United States of America, not blindly follow the whims of our leadership. Granted, we have to follow orders, but we are trained on how to handle illegal orders (though not everyone will toe that line IMO). What would suck is if the senior military brass decides that it is ok to step in. That could be a disaster of epic purportions. -

These kinds of articles need to be pushed out to mainstream news sites in order for it to gain traction. I tried a few years ago to get my mom on Windows. It turned out to be some esoteric scanner thing she had that would NOT play with Linux that stopped that. That and her complaining about it not being Windows. If she didn't live multiple states away, or had half decent internet, I would have pushed the issue. Instead I just installed Windows and walked away. :'(

This weekend we added a few mods, one for UI, one for farming, and one for new vehicles. Now we have so many more things to do/get. Plus we went through a horde night and noticed it was destroying our base so we have started designing a new horde base out in the middle of nowhere on the edges of the town. That led to us needing more concrete, which is what we will have to focus on before the next horde night. I also finally got Age of Wonders: Planetfall from a group I am a part of on Discord. Just started playing it, seems pretty nifty, but I am a sucker for 4x games.
I use chatgpt almost every day for loads of different things within my life. I use it to help spitball ideas for tasks where I volunteer, for example how do I get our customers in age range a to b to interact more with our product? From there, and in all other uses I have for it, I will get a list of results/ideas or a block of code. I know for a fact that none of what chatgpt spits out is perfect so I edit the results or the prompt based on how close it got to what I want. I also use it to look through log files and help me decipher what the errors are. It is great at processing a few hundred lines of code and spitting out the actual errors. I have even had it resolve the issue in the same response!
My fiance also uses it for her work by giving it a prompt for an email/work document with a bullet list of points needed. Then she uses that for a rough outline. It also helped her generate new schedules her employees and made it a lot easier for her. Again, she knows this is far from perfect but she uses all the results as a loose guideline/template for her to fill out/modify.
I know I am weird, but I am really excited to see all the possibilities that are arising from this. This could be REALLY helpful to certain people with disabilities, especially as it gets more refined/accurate/local.
