Over the many games I somehow learned the rules (the basics) and I have to admit it is a lot better than football (soccer for US).
Im so happy that this was aired (Pro7 MAX).
I loved how the players behaved (no arguing about referees, no whining on injuries, fairness everywhere). I really which this was the case in all sports.
Im a fab on Rugby now! :-)

I wasn't ready and I don't even feel ready now after 12 years. Looking back I wonder how I managed all that so well. Though I think using all external help (books, speaking to parents your age) is very helpful. Somehow however it is a natural thing to get used to it while being in the situation.

It's a very good adaption of the book in a 5 episodes TV series which was very inspiring for me as a kid. I saw it again some years ago and it was still holding up to my expectations. I really recommend it to anyone.
