Station Eleven fits the bill I think. It's a story filled with much beauty and much pain, and some really good performances from the lead actors.

I can't disagree, as I enjoy the slow-drip method of watching as well. But it's so much fun to spend multiple continuous hours engaged in a show you really like, so I hope that is true here.

That's awesome, I guess I know what I'm doing on April 12th and possibly 13th depending on what time I start bingeing them.

Very impressed with how this looks. I've loved Fallout since the original came out and would love to not be disappointed in this adaptation. I look forward to the premiere in April.

Kyle Hill generally makes good-to-great videos, but this one stuck out to me as extremely impactful. I'm still digesting what I'm feeling after watching it, but I'm definitely experiencing a type of anxiety I only ever feel when reading about the massive changes that have taken place in our natural environment over the 20th and 21st centuries and how the speed of those changes will likely only increase over time.

It's a fascinating and scary time to be alive but the latter emotion takes up much more of my headspace than the former it seems.

It's super frustrating, I'm just learning this about Ghostery too. It's hard not being completely cynical towards almost everything we see online.

I did the same re: price, then decided to just spend the money (I think it's a $300 Apollo model) and I still use it 15 years later.

Do you use an SAD light and take VitD supplements? If not I'd recommend it, as they are very helpful for moderating the symptoms.

It certainly does, and it's Bloomberg so the chances go up even further.

Does it also kind of feel like an advertorial for Ozempic?

But I will look forward to August 2028 to revisit what we have discussed here and see where we are at.

I feel great empathy for so many in this thread. There's much discounting, many feelings, and so many assumptions about what people are sure they know. And yet so little actual understanding about where things stand globally and environmentally.

I would ask those here right now to make a note to look back on this thread in, say, 3-5 years time and see if you feel similarly to how you do currently. We are on the downhill slope at the moment but so many can't recognize it (and also won't recognize it) and I only hope they truly understand what a terrible spot we're in during the coming years so it isn't so much of shock when their quality of life declines considerably in the future.

Now that Donald Trump's political career is over and he is about to be sentenced

I would absolutely pump the brakes on that line of thought until he is actually experiencing consequences of his actions and is unable (in one way or another) to win an election. Thusfar he is still a free man, the leading Republican candidate for 2024 and his opponents in the primary are all way behind him in popularity.

That said: Go legal system go! I look forward to watching the various cases against him continue to unfold, as he has a lot to answer for.
