Maybe he'll just have to call it Cyberspace X. He does seem to really like pushing X as a company name. I'm sure eventually we'll get Tesla renamed to Ground X.

You should absolutely become a judge if you feel the inclination. The process is a lot easier now than it used to be, so it shouldn't be an issue to get you in as long as you have the rules knowledge for it. Even if you're not running events having a recognized judge at events makes rules disputes so much easier.

If you have any questions about it let me know and I can hook you up with information. I was an L2 previously before I left the program so I've been around a lot and have a lot of knowledge.

Unfortunately most people think things like this will never happen to them and they are a good driver and it's important for me to get to wherever I'm going... until they have an experience that makes them realize how bad it is.

This is all really good advice that applies to enterprise level backups as well.

And remember 3-2-1 for data that you really want to ensure that you don't lose. Three copies on two different mediums with one of them stored in a different physical location.

If you don't trust cloud storage with your data encrypt it beforehand and they won't be able to touch it. For my crucial data I keep a flash drive in a firebox and a copy on my PC, and another on my Google drive using a different account than my main email.

Honestly most of Daniel Radcliffe's movies post Harry Potter for this category other honorable mentions for him include Guns Akimbo where he is an internet troll and because of that has guns grafted onto his hands and as such has tons of people trying to kill him, and Horns a mystery movie where he slowly turns into the devil while working out how his girlfriend died.

I was a young single adult with a week paying remote job as well. Just bought my first house in my mid 30s last 6 months ago after getting married.

For advice it really depends on what you're wanting a house for. If you're in a major metro you aren't going to see prices go down unless there is either a bubble pop witch would be a major disaster or corporate offices start getting converted to apartments. Beyond that demand continues to rise faster than supply even without corporations buying them up due to interest rates.

If you're looking to build equity while living where you want to live then go ahead and buy the house you want and can afford. Know that property taxes will raise as your home value increases and plan for that in your budgeting. High interest rates can be refinanced once they go down again and shouldn't be too off-putting.

If your goal is to buy a house to maximize your money while still being close to things to do look at buying somewhere that's just beyond the outskirts of a major metro. Someplace where the prices are still low but the growth hasn't quite reached yet that in the next 10-15 years you will see the demand for the area skyrocket as the area grows and develops, while still being close enough to do activities in the city pretty regularly.

If you don't care at all about where you live get out to a low cost of living area and just bank all the extra you're making while having a nicer house than you could get most other places.

For a more recent one I watched White Noise (2022) and I was just wondering the whole time about it, because it didn't exactly pull me into the story going on, there was a lot of soapboxing monologues, but I couldn't actually bring myself to stop watching it.

Also Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022) both because it's self titled as such, and because it's a biopic but a parody of his own life which is both incredibly on brand for Al, and hilarious.

Then there's The Weekly Roll which is a D&D comic that always holds the characters in universe, but really captures the feel of what player controlled characters would be. It's now on a bi-weekly basis rather than weekly though due to the author having just had his first child.

Funny you should mention that. There's a lot of overlap between the genres and I myself am a huge prog/symphonic/heavy metal fan who was turned onto bluegrass by a friend who is also huge into metal. For the prog specifically it's easy to see the transition as the use of different instruments in what we hear most of the time makes for some more unique sounds. And the banjo fiddle combinations can be really awesome with the right people using it. Shredding a banjo like an electric guitar is also incredibly difficult and I have huge respect for those doing it.

The only time I keep jeans on in the house is if I'm planning to leave again. If I'm home and staying home then changing into comfy pants for the rest of the night is worth it, back when I was single and living alone I'd just drop my pants once the door was shut and just go without. Even in a cool house which I tended to use as little heating/ac as possible I'd just use a blanket as that's far more comfortable than wearing pants.

But if I'm leaving again it's worth it to not have to change out of the pants and then back into them.

It also depends on what mechanics failed. With 96 hours of air capacity and temperatures at roughly freezing there is a good chance they die of hypothermia before the air runs out.

Oh, that's another super useful thing with it. You don't have to share your account. Anyone can create an account with an email, and you can add accounts to be able to access your libraries. You can set them up with only specific libraries so say you have a library that you want to be able to stream but don't want other people to know exists because it contains all of your My Little Pony Fan Youtube videos that you've downloaded when you grant access to their account you can just select which libraries that they'll be able to view.

And with the separate accounts it will keep track of their progress through shows and movies individually, that way if you're both watching the same show it won't mess up your last watched episode because they were further ahead or behind you.

As long as you group everything together properly Plex will autoplay shows for as long as you keep it going. Basically you just need to have all the episodes for the show in the same folder. Plex will grab metadata from what's there and tag the show with pictures from the web and label the episode names. There's occasionally a few hiccups, but from the 48 tv series that I have on mine currently only 2 needed sprucing up and those were both special cases, on one hand for Firefly it tried to label the episodes in airing order rather than dvd order, which was just a quick settings change as both were available, but it auto-selected the wrong one, and the other was because my version of M*A*S*H doesn't have the laugh track, so it didn't have the proper metadata and I just had to manually search out the show to select it as.

The same works for movies, they tag themselves when you scan them into the server, if you want to bundle movie collections such as all of Marvel, Harry Potter, or James Bond you can put them in a collection so the whole collection will only take up one slot when you're scrolling through and they'll all be in one place rather than hunting around for them. A little bit of organization from the person running it makes for a really clean interface for anyone using it.

Beyond that everything really just works out of the box and I can't really give enough praise for it. I ran it on my personal pc for a long time for myself my siblings, and my parents before moving it to some dedicated equipment that I acquired for it. If something doesn't show up on a streaming service they just let me know and it's there the next day.

The way it has moved to consumers is that the best practice is to subscribe to the platform that has the show that you want to watch, binge all of the content on the platform in a month, cancel the subscription, and move to the next platform that has something you want to watch. This is also extremely costly to the platforms because you're essentially just making everyone power users for the time that they are subscribed which makes them more likely to cost you more than you're making off of them.

This is also a tremendous hassle, which is pushing a lot of folks back to piracy, because piracy is a matter of pricing and convenience. If you provide an option at a reasonable price that's easier than downloading it then people will use your option.
