I like this one because it has remote keys for switching, and builtin sound card so you can switch audio too. I have 2 TVs I use as monitors with 3 HDMI inputs each so input 1 on each monitor goes PC1, input2 to PC2 and input 3 to PC3. I have to switch USB and change TV inputs with the remote any time I want to switch, but I've found it more reliable than any KVM I've ever used. If I point the remote at both TV's I only have to do that part once. -

Indikon Link ParentNo, I never did. I vaguely remember a Nintendo Power special edition or something on one of the Zelda games. I remember my cousin called one of the maybe 900? Numbers to get the answer to how to...No, I never did. I vaguely remember a Nintendo Power special edition or something on one of the Zelda games. I remember my cousin called one of the maybe 900? Numbers to get the answer to how to get to the dungeon in the dark world of the forest in the NW corner of the Link to the past game. Had to use a fire wand on a skull with a long nose.... I think.

Willy the Worm - though this version seems to be broken - the balls should reset and start over again once they get to the bottom. This one also seems to run a little too fast ..... or maybe it's just me that's gotten slower.... It also had a level editor.Others I used to play, but I'm not going to link (on mobile)

Marathon (all 3) I spent a lot of time building maps on these - they're all on steam now for free

I really liked Before Shadowgate, Blaster Master and Ninja Gaiden.I went back and bought all of them on Amazon or eBay 5-10 years ago, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet .

Indikon Link ParentI don't believe this is the case for most modern DVD drives. They have 4 little tabs in each of the corners that will hold the disc in when placed vertically. No Mans Sky - we all settle on a world and call it Tildera or whatever variation and build bases there. I still go back and visit my home world sometimes even though I have a freighter, not sure if that is normal behavior in that game.
Conan Exiles - not sure on the dissimilar skill leveling
Ark - PVE - I've played with a group of 10 others and it seemed to work ok. There wasn't a lot of interaction between people, but there may have been other reasons for that.

It wouldn't function exactly like the traditional streaming services in that you would probably have to queue up what you wanted to watch ahead of time and give it a little time to download. I imagine there would be desire from the creative people/teams for some sort of DRM support which could be doable. I'm mostly just thinking out loud here. There are probably a number of aspects I haven't considered, but seems like a decent framework for an open source project that shouldn't be terribly costly. It still doesn't create the content, but could help in distribution.

Indikon LinkI had a lot of fun for the first few hours I played Payday 2, but then I quickly ran into the need to pay for the majority of the content. WTF?!?! I just bought the game and got started and now...I had a lot of fun for the first few hours I played Payday 2, but then I quickly ran into the need to pay for the majority of the content. WTF?!?! I just bought the game and got started and now you want me to pay more for more maps, guns and characters? I think what was worse about it was how in your face they were about it. Hey look at all of these missions you can do, and the when you click on 80% of them, oh, sorry you need to pay us more to play that. Hopefully the new company will make better decisions, but that might be too optimistic.

Indikon Link ParentI don't think it's dead yet, but there are 2 big problems with it. High cost of decent equipment, and motion sickness that affects a fair number of people. I think there are many amazing VR...I don't think it's dead yet, but there are 2 big problems with it. High cost of decent equipment, and motion sickness that affects a fair number of people. I think there are many amazing VR experiences out there that are just hard to imagine until you've experienced them. I think it could take another 5-20 years, but I think it will come back at some point. I think an AR experience might help address the motion sickness for people, and as/if manufacturing processes improve it should get more affordable. I still might be wrong, but I don't want to give up on VR yet.

Indikon LinkI have about 3000 hrs into Ark - Survival Evolved. I love taming dinosaurs (there are about 300 and I've never tamed them all), building bases and exploring the maps. Some of them are equivalent to 64 square miles. There are about 10 official maps. I have never done a boss battle. The one time I tried (well, about 4 attempts, restore from backup and reload), it glitched and teleported me and my 20 tamed dinos to a random area on Lost Island about 300 ft in the air killing me and half my dinos. Haven't had the interest in breading a dino army for a specific boss since.
Thank you! I've been missing clipboard history since switching some of my computers to Linux, just hasn't been a big enough issue for me to going hunting for a solution yet.
