King_Crimson LinkI think the sexism angle is what EA has focused on honestly. There are a LOT of problems with this game (see katanas on the western front, prosthetic hook hands, over customization so you can't...I think the sexism angle is what EA has focused on honestly. There are a LOT of problems with this game (see katanas on the western front, prosthetic hook hands, over customization so you can't tell class anymore, etc etc) but it's easy to manage pr and criticism when it's an obviously wrong sided issue such as this one.

They're playing what I can only describe as what viking would listen to if they commandeered a synthesizer....I stumbled across this group in a YouTube dive some time ago and I've been hooked. They're playing what I can only describe as what viking would listen to if they commandeered a synthesizer. They're playing drums of animals skins painted with their own blood. They're playing bones and animal horns. It's intense stuff, and the theatrics of their performance are best displayed with this song here imo.

While V may have given us a taste, the entire time V was being developed Kojima was on Twitter saying 'GTA V keeps making me sad' because of how damned good it was, especially after they remastered/re-released it for next-gen consoles.
Imagine.... Imagine Metal Gear, the ORIGINAL Metal Gear, remade with a blending of stealth mechanics and the any time anything anywhere of GTA. Throw in the multi polar narratives of Solid Snake, Gray Fox, and Venom Snake as they handle the crisis. Do you stealth your way through the game? Drop off a tank or chopper?
Let's build on the original, there's side quests to help the natives, factions to aid or fight against, weapon and armor customization, easter eggs of future characters or their relatives to keep world building.
First game too small? Fair, it's an NES game so it's hard to establish scale (look at Hyrule in LOZ compared to BoTW), so let's go with... MGS 4. Remember the ONE time you get to go to a city? Let's unlock the whole damned city. In fact, the little villages in the middle east are now properly scaled to boot. Imaging trying to get through San Andreas with GEKOs running around. And you can switch BETWEEN Raiden and Old Snake at will. Hell, throw in SOME Liquid Ocelot chapters too.
If this game was ever made, I doubt I'd ever buy another one.

Really, I just wanted to say I appreciate that someone is already tinkering with the guts so to speak. I am not technologically literate outside of hardware (so this is all lost on me), but when I saw tildes was open source, I was excited and hopeful for what was to come.
Keep up the good work!

Looks great, just wish it had some of the functionality found in apps more available (swiping and the like mostly, I'm a simple man.)

I will say though, as nice as my gaming chair is for my pc, nothing...I feel ya, I barely use my Ps4 anymore and I was hoping for a port, but I stopped holding my breath and picked it up on sale. I will say though, as nice as my gaming chair is for my pc, nothing beats sitting in a recliner in front of a 60 inch TV with a controller haha

Just got to the main city (Meridian), upgraded most of my weapons, bought some new ones, and I'm working through my ammo bags now. Cleared out my second bunker thing (cauldron?) and had to fight a ravager and firebellow thing... That sucked. But again, trip wires and traps haha.

I continue to be wowed, I took down my first 'big' monster the other day, spent the last of my currency on weapons, and upgraded my armor. It's one of those '5 more minutes, just one more objective' games, and I've been losing sleep because of it haha

Dad jokes, mom jokes, dark (not racist) jokes, long and short form, what are your favorites? I prefer darker humor myself, but I'm not sure what's appropriate quite yet as far as this community is concerned...
