You don't actually need the app. You can get a boarding pass for free if you say that your phone died. They will probably even let you through with a printout, though I haven't tested that.

I care because of the state of the web. I wish there was a standard and effective way to fight the bots/slop problem that exists in all popular social networks. There's no way to completely eliminate it of course - after all, a human can sell their online identity to a bot network or it can be stolen, but it's still a bottleneck for bots where they would need to harvest these accounts somehow. It would make it very hard to employ a firehose of shit technique in online discussions.

In other words, I long for the days when comments/posts on the web were (almost) always made by humans.

the video is a bit meandering, but the recipe is ultimately simple and the result is quite simply unbelievable. It tastes like a proper cheesecake and the calories to protein ratio is crazy. This is now a staple in my diet.

What do the coloured rings represent? Earth seems to track the green one more or less (I would have expected blue for Earth! :)) but the red one closer to the sun is between Venus and Mercury.

And what's the scale like? I was impressed by the distance to Neptune for example, that's great to see that, but then Mercury is much closer to the sun than it should be? Are the distances simply scaled and in reality Neptune would be even further away?

This is great advice. The shock after an accident causes people to make bad decisions. Have a plan and follow it.

One thing to take into account is the warranty - new phones come with one and if they die on you, you just get them fixed for free. Used phones become useless bricks.

I'm not sure what you mean by broadening my horizons. I made changes in my diet which made me appreciate more meals. I still eat meat. I never suggested you should not eat meat.

The taste is a matter of what you're used to. Since I cut down on the amount of meat I eat (roughly once a week now) I found that I enjoy non-meat meals much more than before and I vastly expanded my horizons in terms of dishes I like. I still love a good steak, but I honestly can't say it tastes better to me than for example spaghetti aglio e olio. But just 5-6 years ago, when I was still an avid carnivore, that would have seemed impossible to me.

Thanks for the tips, I might look into it at some point (though I would probably just buy another card if I wanted to move to linux for good).

Last time I tried was probably two years ago. I don't remember the exact version - it was the latest one at the time. I remember there were some issues with drivers around that time so the timing probably wasn't too good. Anyway Win10 has been running perfectly since so I didn't try again because I never felt a need.

Personally I don't care about this stuff because I don't experience the bloat in any way. After installing the OS I just remove a bunch of apps from start menu and that's it.
