It's been over a year since I've bought my chevy bolt, and I love this car. But, instead of giving you suggestions here's some information around evs and some clarifications around some bad myths.

Charging: evs can charge on normal house outlets (level 1), most allow for a lower amp charging if you live in a old home with bad wiring (the bolt defaults to 8A) but most cap out at 12A this is the max you can draw from a normal outlet legally. At 12A and 120V your car will charge about 1.2Kw/hr or in other words get around 6/4 miles charge per hour. If you plug in at night you're looking at upwards of 60mi. This level of charging is recommended due to lower wear on the battery pack.

Level 2 charging uses a 240V circuit, similar to an electric washer/dryer or an electric stove. A low amp 240V circuit could be cheaply ran to most garages using romex cables for a couple hundred your self if you're familiar with wiring. This level of charge gives you around 20-40mi/hour worth of charge and fills up most evs over night.

Finally level 3, also known as fast charging or DC charging is the most abusive on the battery pack but can 80% charge most evs in 1hr/20min depending on the vehicle. This charging is normally recommended for long trips on the highway or if you can't charge at home or work.

Evs milage varies highly based on weather. Evs have special efficiency tires that are quite costly and don't have significant traction in the snow. Switching to winter tires reduces the range by around 10/20 % and the range will be reduced by heating the battery pack and you some more. Because of this I would recommend getting a ev that has around 4x the range you use daily to compensate for winter weather if you live in a cold climate. That said evs are much better in snow due to heavier weights allowing better traction. The instantaneous torque also helps getting out of snow banks.

While there's a lot to learn, driving and maintaining a ev is significantly easier then a ICE (internal combination engine) vehicle. The information just isn't widely circulated yet

In the land before smartphones ~2003 target made a model based on consumer purchases that predicted when a customer was pregnant and could roughly estimate when the child would be born. They used this model to send targeted ads to mothers to be about baby products.

A man in Minneapolis was furious that target was sending his highschool aged daughter ads for baby products and complained to the manger that they were encouraging his daughter to get pregnant. A week later he apologized because his daughter was pregnant and he didn't know.

I could only imagine the data and information tech companies can extrapolate about me from the vast amount of information I willingly give them if target could predict pregnancy based on vitamins and lotion sales in ~2003.

So my understanding of the recent SCOTUS decision was that making a website or any other artistic design constituted speach. And the US goverment couldn't infringe on free speach.

So you couldn't force a baker to make a pride cake/decorations, but they would have to make a normal cake for a gay couple. So then is cutting hair more like making a generic wedding cake or more like making a pro LGBTQ+ website. I would argue a hair cut is not a form of speach unless the cut somehow was pro LGBTQ+, like dyeing it rainbow colored.

    Hope Game: Baldur's gate II

I'm a huge fan of rpg's in general and my buddy and I have been talking about picking this up to run through together.

Hype Game: fallout new Vagas from 7. Fallout

Hands down quintessential fps rpg. Nothing else has even come close. Amazing difficulty, no auto scaling mobs so you feel powerful once you can finally kill a death claw, great story and even better side quests filled with interesting and emergent game play. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes fps or rpg gans.

The EPA under RCRA has a "Cradle to the grave" policy for virgin toxic waste. In other words, the company that orginally produced the material is responsible for its disposal regardless of how long its been or who bought or exchanged it. Certain plastics should be classified under RCRA and the companies that make the garbage should be responsible for its reduction, recycling, and safe disposal. Unfortunately the EPA has been gutted and ran by cronies but a boy can dream

I agree to an extent, but running +150G games on a ssd is not viable. Even if you get a top of the line 2T m.2 it would be filled after 10 games of that size. Meanwhile a 12T costs the same and could hold about 90 of those games on it. Needing a ssd isn't the issue, infact I think everyone should have a m.2 for their c: drive, it's the file size for modern games is too high

I haven't played to many old school rpgs in a while so I've forgoten how unforgiving the difficulty curve is. Think I've died at least once every hour but been enjoying regardless.
