    Agreed, sad to say a few of the Orville episodes feel more in the spirit than the recent ST stuff. Which in my opinion, feels far too dramatic. I honestly would say the removal of mid season...

    Which in my opinion, feels far too dramatic. I honestly would say the removal of mid season “filler episodes” of broadcast television (20 episode seasons) hurt it. It’s almost as if I grew numb to the constant action without a cushion between.

    I sort of agree with you on Sisko, on first watch his choices were a lot. But on a rewatch I remembered just how far out DS9 was, it was more a western frontier town with a sheriff. Not to mention...

    Not to mention coming off the death of his wife and having to raise a son, he was lucky he was a religious icon to the local populace and was in charge of a base on the war front. Otherwise, I sincerely doubt Starfleet would’ve tolerated everything. Sure he reached Captain, but I doubt they ever had plans to move him anywhere outside the backwaters of Bajor after the Dominion conflict.

    You’ve got me there, but I meant by air dates. I even watch TNG and DS9 at the same time lol. No clue why I do it, but it just feels right.

    Not to mention, I’m sure users here remember when Microsoft tried implement this with a console a few years back, and it flopped so hard that Sony made fun of them when they went first at a gaming show.
