    I hope we won't end up with reddit's syntax for them. Being able to have different text when it's hidden or not is great for warning what spoilers it contains.

    Not ideal but you could try mark it like this: [mark it like this](http://don't_read_me_i'll_spoil_you "don't read me i'll spoil you"). That way PC users can hover over the link to read it and...

    That way PC users can hover over the link to read it and mobile users can read the URL (don't even have to go to it, long-pressing works).

    We're updating our privacy policy in preparation for the EU's General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) later this month. Although these changes are spurred by European law, we think privacy is super important and so these changes will apply to everyone, no matter where you're located.

    Hopefully other big sites and services do that too.
