Can't wait to see what Codemasters comes up with with the new WRC title, I'm hoping it'll be similar to Dirt Rally 2, but with some major improvements, especially to the career mode, and the asphalt. It feels to... slippery in DR2.
That being said, I'm also terrified to see how EA forced some cut corners. Can't be any worse then WRC generations I guess.
I do need to buy a wheel/pedal combo though. Some people are very judgemental when I say I'm using a controller.

Given all that, it's still a pretty good book with an interesting premise and a protagonist who actually grows and learns.
One thing I really do like about Gaiman's writing style is his character development. His characters, at least to me, always represent what would happen to a regular person being put in a weird situation and how they grow from it.
Kinda off topic at this point, but it's one of the reasons I hate the American Gods TV series. They made Shadow such a whiny bitch. I see people online saying that he has basically 0 personality in the book, but he's had quite a few life altering events in a really, really short span of time. I won't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't read it, but I'll say that the man's basically in shock for pretty much the entire book.
I'm a little more hesitant to write more on Neverwhere, cause I haven't read it in about 4-5 years, but I feel the character development is on the same track. Richard Mayhew is a whiny bitch in the books, until he isn't.
Gaiman is really good at writing characters and worlds, even if they sometimes are a bit... dry on the surface.
Think I'll take my own advice and read neverwhere again.

Mainly, Shadow isn't a whiny child in the books. Not a fan of the TV series.
Another good series I'd recommend is the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. It just recently finished it's 2nd arc (8 books in the main series). And if you really like that series, there's also the Stormlight Archive series also by Brandon Sanderson. Most of his books are part of the cosmere, but you can 100% enjoy each series on it's own.

After putting all my eggs in one basket after the twitter fiasco, and basically dropping that "basket" when reddit imploded, I want a bit of variety in my content/content delivery platforms again.

Even if they do reverse the changes, I don't think I'm going to go back. They've shown what they think of the communties and people who dedicated their time, money and effort into making reddit what it is.

Edit: And DONE. After that dumpster fire of a AMA, I don't think there's any point in going back.

I used to run it on my desktop along side windows, but decided it wasn't really worth keeping, as I mostly use my desktop for gaming now. I do miss it though, maybe one day when certain anti-cheat devs decide Linux is worth it.
On my Server, I run Ubuntu 22.04. Should probably update, but I can't really be bothered with potentially screwing something up. Not in the fixing mood as of late.
WRC for me, although I'm fairly new at it. Just started watching this year, and I missed watching Kenya. Should actually catch up and watch that, even it if was a couple of weeks ago.
