Howdy, motorsport fans! What series are we all watching at the moment? What’s your favorite?

Surprised there wasn’t a topic already posted! What kind of motorsports do you all watch? What is your favorite?

Personally, I dabble in nearly everything four wheeled (two is not for me). However, my mains are F1, Indycar, IMSA, and WEC.

I got into F1 in 2018 and been a religious follower ever since. I became a Max fan as he was able to fight the Mercedes, kind of funny that now he’s in the annoyingly winning spot. I also pull for McLaren and the wife Williams, so we have a nice time watching the midfield with some banter every week.

I was very much casual Indycar, but making an effort this year. Palou seems to be just running off in the sunset Max style but I’m really hoping Grosjean can pull a win out. It looked so promising to start the year.

The endurance series are fun to watch too. I started to watch last year and it seems like I picked a perfect time with the Hypercar class coming into its own. Very excited to see who all comes into the class as time goes on!

Mostly F1 for me since I started in 2011. Had the pleasure of going to a couple GP's as well. Unfortunately, after the championship drama a couple years ago, I really lost my motivation and skipped last season entirely. Been slowly easing back into things this season. But I'm finding it hard to be as invested as I used to be in races.

Excited for you, it’s a great time. Where are your seats? We were in T4 but got a straight shot look at T12 as well.

F1 has the better off track drama though. With all the rumours in silly season, complaints about penalties, political issues on track selections, lawsuits, horrible team strategies and so on. Just casual following F1 news is more entertaining than most races.

As a Porsche fan, this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans definitely didn't have the results I was hoping for. But it was a good race. And I'm glad to see the top-tier class in the state that it's in.

Not quite the same as actually racing, but pretty close. Plus this group is aggressive and willing to tangle for position, so it gives me anxiety too! Crashing hurts, even with all the gear. Completely mad in such a joyous way. I love, love, love it!

I've been watching NASCAR, F1, and I guess I also watched Lemans but I don't follow that supercar series or anything.

Nascar is probably my favorite, that race at Chicago was super good and there's just a lot of variety. Sure, ovals are just a bunch of circles, but there's a ton of strategy in how to approach them and they are mixing up the types of courses a lot.

F1 would be a lot more interesting if Verstappen knew how to lose races, but he just keeps winning. Like last week it was interesting watching Perez try to come back after his bad start, but Verstappen and his team are just so good they make the whole thing boring.

And Lemans was really interesting, ill probably try to watch it next year as well, but obviously the format makes it somewhat difficult to watch so it's probably best that it only happens once a year

I've always been somewhat into motorsport, but I didn't really watch anything heavily until 2018 or 2019 or so. Since then, I'm watching F1 and Indycar every weekend, WEC every time there's an endurance race, and then watching Nascar, Moto GP, and IMSA when it's on and F1/Indy isn't. We're in a pretty blessed time in motorsports. Most Sundays, I can park my butt in front of the TV at 8am and not run out of racing to watch until evening.

F1 is definitely my favorite in terms of drama, but the racing in Indycar, Moto GP, and IMSA is so much better.

This year specifically, Formula E has had the best pure racing for me. Berlin's first race was one of the best motor races I think I've ever seen - so much action and so many great overtakes. I'm off to see the final two races in London in just under three weeks and I cannot wait.

I've also followed IndyCar for the first time this year and have enjoyed it. It's a lot more 'pure' than other open-wheel motorsports so that's been a nice change. Their street circuit design is also pretty great (Detroit was a nice surprise given how bland the track looked on paper).

I've tried following Australian V8 Supercars but the stream times just don't work for me in Europe, and watching replays just isn't as good as the real thing. Their highlights on YouTube are good though (seriously, the Gold Coast circuit with those tight back-to-back chicanes is such a fantastic design).

Used to follow F1 quite closely until this year as this season has been quite boring. So I've been following IMSA, WEC, and Indycar instead. IMSA and WEC have been great fun to watch though I've been struggling to follow Indycar races mainly because the race coverage is just filled with ads and it really detracts from the experience of watching the race. I was never really a big motorsport fan before, and then... yes... like a normie... I watched Drive To Survive last year. That show has a lot of faults in it but one fault it does not have is spinning up interest in Formula 1. My interest and knowledge went from 0 to 11 very quickly. After I wrapped up DTS, I watched the Abu Dhabi 2022 race and, yeah, it was not very eventful but it was entertaining! I liked it! So I kept on watching F1 content on YouTube, reading articles, absorbing information about the series and just learning more about it and now I can confidently say I'm an F1 fan. It's a big part of how I'm spending my days nowadays, especically the weekends. Yeah, I didn't get to see Schumacher or Prost or Senna or Vettel race but hey, I'm here now and I'll be watching F1 for the foreseeable future.
