But I have some health stuff to take care of to re-enable the ability to do exactly as you suggest. I agree that physical health is an essential component in maintaining the ability to work and to thrive.

Capitalism produces so much waste due to artificial scarcity anyway, and I'm sure communism has its own problems tied up in ideology: it certainly has historical baggage that makes it difficult to discuss with most people.

I've had some realizations lately in therapy that will either end my relationship or make it better than it's ever been, and I'm not in charge at all anymore of which way that will go.
I've been having to try to figure out how to field multiple coinciding financial emergencies without access to credit or other resources, and I've been having to sell things I really, really liked having just to stay afloat. And one of those emergency expenditures is to replace something that makes some of my side hustles possible, so I'm having to replace it with lesser capacity to make money.
I'm having to wait a month to visit my doctor to address a persistent issue for which I have a strong case as to what the next treatment should be, but it'll be a month before it can even be addressed. So I have to figure out how to survive another month with low motivation, low energy, and other chronic negative health impacts.
I've lost the ability to envision a good future for myself or to experience hope or joy, partly based on how life is going now and has been for a while now, and partly because of general economic conditions that impact me more directly than they should.
I do everything right but nothing changes. And all the avenues that could change things remain inaccessible to me, or are too long-term to count on.
Despite all that I'm still somehow managing to keep my head above water and keep going.

I've done and continue to do the work in therapy and am properly medicated. But when I have my worst moments and life isn't otherwise justifiable in my mind, those connections to others are what keep me around.

But when I met her, she let me pick her up and cradle her in my arms without any fuss. And ever since last February when I brought her home, she hasn't hissed, scratched, or bit at me in anger. She's such a good girl. And I think she's thankful that she's in a one cat apartment situation.

I am the only person in my geographic region at work that has the knowledge and certifications to perform a certain kind of work.
I'm the go-to guy for 3D printing commissions for several people.
And if all else fails, my cat is fully reliant on me.

So China has to make their own, and they're currently a few generations behind current AI chips. That's the main reason DeepSeek was more efficient with processing power: it had to be to make use of lesser domestic chip capacity.
Thanks for the encouragement! I don't expect any of my work will be applied or taken seriously in my lifetime, but that's sort of freeing in a way.
