I've never understood the "pay me for commute time" argument. I mean, if that's the case, I'll live the farthest allowable distance away. Why pay higher rents to live close to your job when you can get paid more by living farther away. Plus you're fucked if you do live further away and you really want the job. The hiring managers will be factoring in the cost of commute.

They're probably just used to talking to my mother on the phone. It takes about five good byes before I can hang up. That wouldn't make for compelling viewing lol.

There is no immortal technology, is there? I am thinking of storage mediums. What would you store it on? Scientists are making strides storing data on DNA, but even that isn't 'immortal' and has storage degradation. And let's say your brain data does last on its storage medium, is there any guarantee that there will be a program out there that can read it? I mean, this data will probably need a database somewhere in there, will we use SQL as the backbone? Will SQL even be readable in 100 years?

A Stephen King adaptation... it could go so wrong or it could go so right. Haha.

I loved PE. I was naturally good at sports, but was also unfit, so I was bad at running, but had the knack for everything else. I enjoyed team sports, even though I would almost always get picked near the end of team selection. I liked learning about the rules of different sports, and trying something new. I just hated running laps around the field.

It's interesting how a single person can be so influential in a jury trial. You basically dictated the entire outcome of the trial.
